The property, which seems to be quite old, was not maintained properly. Breakfast served was not upto the mark. The location is not so great as it is on one corner of lakeside. The only plus point is the friendly staff. Not worth staying on vacation.

Great place to stay in Pokhara. Close to the lake and everything, but quiet and away from the main road. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The staff is helpful and very friendly. The food tastes great. My wife and I really enjoyed staying at the Kantipur Hotel.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The view of the snow-capped mountains from the hotel's rooftop is amazing. The sanitation was very good and clean. The shower water was very hot. Great budget stay close to Tourist Bus Park (20min by foot) & Lakeside (15min by foot)

This hotel is well situated in Pokhara a few minutes from everything that makes Lakeside the place to be. The price to quality is difficult to beat. The rooms are very well kept and clean. Some rooms offer a lovely view of the mountains. The Management team goes beyond just providing hotel services but will help you in making your visit to Nepal memorable.

Hote is half a block back from the lake front , a shop across the street, many cafes an restaurants close by as well as boat hire on the lake, also an in-house restaurant which had good food , a lift was a huge bonus as was the balcony with a view of the mountains

I stayed for some days in pokhara for trekking and had my homebase here in this hotel. The staff is very friendly, relaxed and willing to help. I personally really enjoyed staying with the staff, it just felt like a big and fun friendcircle. I can really recommend this place. And the lake is also just 5 minutes by walk from here.

I know the standards for hotel rooms are different in Nepal than I’m used to in the states but this place was clean, there was hot water and air conditioning. And the people were friendly and helpful. It is also in a good location a bit off the main road so it was quiet at night. So for the crazy low cost we were pleasantly surprised and satisfied with our 3 day stay here.

We stayed in Peacge plaza for 3 days and they treated us very well, always with a smile and very eager to help with whatever we needed. What a wonderful experience! A nice and underrated location, 35-45 mins drive from lakeside. A quaint and tranquil property with 180 views of Mt. Machapuchhare and surrounding di g mountains. A very beautiful place, near the lake and places of interest, you can go boating. The hotel administration is very nice, clean premises, cozy rooms, wonderful terraces and a lodge on the roof with a great view of the snowy mountain peaks.

Nice spot to stay for a short time. Pros were everything around the lakeside was with walking distance and the breakfast was filling. Cons were laundry costed extra when it was listed as included. We stayed at Mum's Garden for a total of 3 nights in April 2012, before and after our trek in the Annapurna region. It is a nice, quiet, relaxing place to stay. Only 5 minute walk to the shopping and dining area in Lakeside. The place is so peaceful i stayed back in the hotel all day reading a book and it was so relaxing... It's clean ... Comfortable.... Breakfast was good, quick service, helpful staff. The place is about 15mins walk from the main lakeside but it gives you space from all the hustle of the city.

Very friendly and attentive staff

Basanta Inn has a great family atmosphere. I was a solo traveller and was looked after by Jivan and his family. I was included in their family meals. My room was clean, cool and very comfortable. The coffee and breakfast were great. I was also driven every morning by Jivan to the school I was volunteering at. I could not recommend Basanta Inn highly enough.

A nice family run hotel. The beds as super comfortable and the aircon works well. The cafe down stairs makes the best peach iced tea. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and the place is clean. If you want hot water you have to remind them 😊 It’s also within walking distance to most things and they also will provide a car or organise taxis to other places they have suggested
