The hotel food was horrible. when we complained about the food, there was a curt reply from the hotel staff that this is all we can serve as the tour operator was committed while booking. Actually we were 16 persons of IRCTC tour of Nepal with Muktinath darshan Ex Indore. They served Dal, Chawal , Aloo Gobhi or Aloo Patta Gobhi vegetable morning and evening each day. Sweetened curd served as desert. In the room electric kettle was provided but with Tea / coffee and sugar.No dairy whitener sachets were provided. They refused to provide the same when demanded. The hotel staff was very rude and with poor service I would not recommend anybody to book this hotel while on Nepal Tour.

The property, which seems to be quite old, was not maintained properly. Breakfast served was not upto the mark. The location is not so great as it is on one corner of lakeside. The only plus point is the friendly staff. Not worth staying on vacation.

The entire stay was amazing and beautiful. The location was easy to find and has a wonderful green garden area, the food was wholesome and delicious, all the amenities were present and they even went the extra mile to add on an extra bed. On the last day we checked out at 5am they prepared a nutritious breakfast for us. However, the warm water system seems a bit unsustainable as there isn't a geyser and one needs to wait for the hot water to come through the tap and seems like a wastage of water. All in all, would definitely recommend this place for all the warm staff that run the place!

Great place to stay in Pokhara. Close to the lake and everything, but quiet and away from the main road. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The staff is helpful and very friendly. The food tastes great. My wife and I really enjoyed staying at the Kantipur Hotel.
