Hotel Zuiderduin in Egmond Aan Zee

A very large hotel with many interesting attractions, such as bowling, an 80s-style bar, billiards, a games room, a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, and a sauna. It was hard to get bored.
Good location by the sea, with beautiful views and good restaurants nearby.
The room was clean and well-maintained.
The only downside was the food in the restaurant downstairs. The burgers were really bad. The meat was suspect and the waitress wasn't very friendly either.
As for breakfast, the food was okay, nothing special. Lots of pre-made frozen products.
Delicious bread, salmon, bacon, and cheeses. Good coffee.
The bar downstairs had delicious drinks and a great atmosphere.
Overall, I really enjoyed it. 😊

I had an excellent experience at Hotel Zuiderduin! It’s a remarkable hotel, extremely clean, and much larger than I expected. There’s simply no way to get bored here – you have everything you need for both relaxation and entertainment.

It’s a perfect place for families with children: a swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, bowling, and many other activities to keep everyone engaged. The restaurants are great, everything is included, and the buffet dinner was absolutely delicious and varied. The same goes for breakfast – it truly exceeded my expectations.

In short, this hotel offers far more than it promises, with high-quality services and facilities for all ages. Highly recommended!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very nice hotel at a great beach location. Staff were very polite and generally helpful. It is reassuring to see many staff working around the hotel to ensure everything is clean and functional. Breakfast was very good.

Check in was a little disappointing, the room is advertised as being available from 3pm which plans were made around this. The room was not ready until over 90 minutes later, as an international traveller who did not sleep on their journey over this was rather problematic and stressful. Evening plans had to be rearranged due to this.

Rooms are generally good, the floor was a little dustier than expected, for the price paid it would've been nice to see a larger television and in-room mini fridge which is now becoming commonplace in many hotels. The bathroom was excellent and spotless. The housekeeping staff did very well there 👍

Location is fantastic right by the beach and good access to the town. The hotel has an excellent range of on-site facilities also.

I would certainly like to come back again in future and hopefully experience less delays with checking in. Thank you for your hospitality and relaxing time.

I stayed in this hotel for a week following the Reffurence event, and I loved my stay! I found the staff very kind and professional; despite the large number of people they had this week, I think they handled it extremely well, The hotel is well located, a short walk from the beach and the town, there are also a few bus lines. The hotel itself is super cool, with a pool and sauna, a children's playroom, a bar, a pub... in short, plenty of things if you want to relax a bit inside. The rooms are nice, the public area is very comfortable too, a superb hotel ✨

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Zuiderduin. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable with plenty of storage. All the staff were friendly, professional and attentive and the hotel amenities were outstanding! Pool, sauna and hot tub, bowling, several restaurants, bicycle rental, arcade, soft play. The bicycle shop staff were helpful and informative. We had a lovely cycle around the area. The food was outstanding. We had quite a lot of people for our conference and the food for such a large crowd was excellent and the wait staff were attentive and alert. Thank you!!!! We really enjoyed our stay in the Netherlands- it is a beautiful country.

It is a nice hotel right by the sea. The staff is very friendly and eager to make your stay a pleasant one. Room are good and some rooms have sea view. We booked this one, which is highly recommended for a one-off...

Hotel Zuiderduin is easily accessible, with plenty of private parking. Check-in was fairly quick. First impression was immediately good. Everything looked clean and tidy. Rooms were clean and tidy with balcony, and nice bathroom. There was no air conditioning, which could be a disadvantage on hot summer days. It is a large hotel with a cozy English PUB that is attractively decorated. With friendly staff, and is busy in the evening. Open until 00:30-01:00. Definitely worth it for a few pleasant hours. The brasserie is also nice and attractively decorated, nice to drink coffee or have a bite to eat. Breakfast is very good and quite extensive. The various entrances and exits are very conveniently located, super close to everything. Bus stop in front of the door, within 25 minutes in Alkmaar. Even when the weather is bad, you won't be bored in the Zuiderduin hotel. We were very satisfied with this beautiful and pleasant hotel, as well as the friendliness of the staff. It is absolutely recommended.

Our group attended a conference here in December, and despite the conference's intense schedule, our stay at the hotel proved to be an oasis of relaxation. The hotel's amenities, including a serene swimming pool and a sauna, offered the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle. Its superb location, right on the beach, meant that moments of respite were just a short walk away, allowing for spontaneous beach strolls whenever the conference's demands became too much. Additionally, the staff was very nice and we received a delicious food buffet every day :) I highly recommend this establishment for anyone seeking a balance of professional engagement and peaceful leisure.

Despite the difficulty with pronouncing the name of this hotel for non-Dutch-speakers, the hotel is welcoming and perfect for large conferences. I attended my third international conference here recently and the rooms seem to have been upgraded. They cater well for large groups with a large restaurant where they had enough buffets to avoid long queues. Their main meeting hall is also well equipped, but it has no windows which is a disadvantage. Staff at the hotel were extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. It time permits, it is worth stepping outside for a walk by the beach, a stroll in the little town's main street or up to the lighthouse.
