Hotel was op zich prima, beetje gedateerd.

We slept in a bad room: small, very basic and bed was situated at window at the flat roof full of kitchen ventilators and airco’s. Had to climb in and out of bed, because lack of space. Next morning we have got a better room after complaining,

My room was fine bed very comfortable only problem was the shower room.

We booked the hotel as a base for cycling tours in the beautiful surroundings. We were very pleased with the hotel room, which had a lovely furnished balcony and a new bathroom. The breakfast was varied and good. There is also a nice indoorpool.

The heating in our room wasn't working properly, and the toilet seat was very loose. When we reported this, they took appropriate action. This was perfectly fine. The service was also polite and friendly. However, dinner in the restaurant was definitely not good. Basic dishes were already quite expensive, and you had to order vegetables and potatoes or fries. Great pool, spacious room. I have stayed here before and always had a great time. I had the luxury of having the indoor pool to myself - Awesome!! Good breakfast but would have liked a warm veg option such as beans or mushrooms. The room was big and spacious with a comfortable bed. The only area for improvement was the peeling paint outside on the balcony. Some TLC needed there.

I tried to alter my booking dates through Expedia's website, was informed by their Bot that it'd all been taken care of. Didn't receive the promised confirmation email so called the hotel to check and it hadn't happened at all. Thank you so much to the guy at the hotel for re-arranging everything so perfectly, otherwise we'd have turned up without a reservation. Next time we'll book with the hotel...

The outside environment is beautiful, the room is clean and tidy, the room size is not very large, but the basic equipment is complete. The hotel is located in the forest, self-driving is more convenient, and it is suitable for vacation travel.

We stayed here for 4 days when travelling back from Germany before catching the ferry from IJmuiden. The hotel is easy to find and the car parking excellent and free. Despite being close to the motorway it is a quiet area. I had a fabulous time here. First time in Deventer and I couldn't choose a better hotel to stay! Our room was huge with a beautiful view, and most important super clean! Came here for the Tesla supercharger. Happened to be breakfast time at the hotel And even though we didn’t want to pay for the full breakfast at the hotel, the staff were very happy for us to still have usual coffee and pastries for normal charges. Very modern and nice hotel

the property is on a two minutes drive from the coty centre of Deventer very reachable and clean!

Staff were very nice and helpful, also after my stay (needed an invoice via email). Lots of parking space, and - very important for me - rooms are quiet. Bed and room were clean, bathroom could have been cleaner though.

Charming, characterful stay! Our room on the 3rd floor was really spacious and clean. We had everything we needed and we loved the record player. We had dinner in the bar on our first evening and the food was delicious and service really friendly.

Great hotel This is an amazing hotel, very friendly staff. If you get room 5 however, be warned it's a fantastic room but the speaker for the bar is just through the wall and as this room is a duplex your head is next to the sound until 1.00/1.30am

A beautiful historic property near to the river right in the heart of the old city of Deventer. I stayed in a studio, which had a mezzanine level and stairs up to the bed. Nice hotel, great staff. Being an old hospital, the rooms are a bit of a strange configuration (at least ours was). The hotel is located in the restricted vehicle / pedestrian area of town so transporting luggage is a bit more of a chore. Nice stay overall, and good breakfast.

Location unique and my small room was very good against a good price.

Our group stayed here for 5 days and the hotel is wonderful. Lots of history and character, very clean, and the location in old town was perfect to enjoy the shopping and restaurants. The staff were very professional and helpful, a special thanks to Donny for her care and attention to our group, and the breakfast each morning was really good and enjoyed by everyone. We highly recommend this hotel

It is an historic building, very authentic, that was very nice. But because of that, it was noisy. The city of Deventer is very nice. There was no restaurant in the hotel-building. Only for breakfast. There was a Fletcher-offer : 3 course diner included, and lower price to stay, but because of the lac of a restaurant, they could not give me the offer, they also did not lower the prise.

Walkable from the hotel! We fell in love with this place especially when it was built in the 1700's and was very easy to walk to city centre from the hotel.

We think the hotel was OK, needs a bit of an update, faster lift, better beds, a spare pillow should be provided, bigger TV in the room/ too small for the room size. The wifi was very slow and not really suitable to try and use for business purpose in my experience. It is nicely situated and the staff were friendly, an update of the technology would improve it a lot.

Great hotel, just could be cleaner. Facilities are good, but the quality is lower than what I am used to from 4 star hotels. Too bad there is no refrigerator in the room. Bedding is also not that nice, doesn't feel completely fresh.

Very nice people, food was nice, room good, swimming pool nice. Coctails when we arrived, the kids loved it. The minor remark was that the dinner with pork was very small (and the one with beef twice as much)

It's suitable for vacation, in the forest, the air is very good. Unfortunately, I'm here on a business trip. The facilities are not new, but they are clean and tidy. But if you don't drive yourself, the transportation is a bit inconvenient. When I left, I asked the front desk to help me call a car.

We only stayed there one night as it was very convenient for our purpose. The lady at reception was very friendly and te room was spacious, light and clean, with comfortable beds and a good shower.

The room is generally clean and the equipment is relatively old. I personally prefer hotels with bathtubs and balconies, so I always book a room on the first floor. The room space is just right. The hotel has bicycles for rent and the outdoor environment is very good. Therefore, Apeldoorn is an alternative hotel when I come to Apeldoorn many times. .

We only stayed one night. The room was fine, nice and spacious and clean. And the breakfast was also well taken care of. Parking late at night was a bit problematic. and an extra sentence to fill the 200 words otherwise the review won't work. Strange!.

Very very small room,it was a very hot summerday and there was no aircondition. Small window to open and a tiny ventilator on the room. Far under the level to recommend this too another person who is travelling allone or wants too stay here..

No room cleaning on a stay over 3 days. Tried to use the restaurant, but left after 10minutes without being noticed by the waiter….

The small room and shower in de bathroom was under a sloping roof. That's why it wasn't possible to stand there.

Recently we visited this place with our Fellowship of the Ring crew – there were about 10 of us today. We came during lunch hours. I ordered the Upark burger but I have to admit I was really disappointed. The fries and salad were okay, but there's no point in commenting on them when the main dish – the burger itself – was completely messed up. What I got in the bun shouldn't even be called a burger...

Highly recommend the U Parkhotel for any visit to Twente Uni or even Enschede (an hour walk away). The staff, presumably all students were welcoming and very friendly. The room was very comfortable with modern fittings, a minimalist feel and large windows overlooking the university campus. The food at the restaurant was good, particularly the breakfast which had a lot of options to choose from although...

The only issue is rooms are chilly and don't really get warm. It did not only happen to me, all of my friends had the same issue with their rooms. I would give 2-3 stars just because of this. However, the kitchen and service staff was lovely and they helped me a lot for my allergies. I had no health problem thanks to them. Thats why I give 4 stars.

The student trainees did a great job, better than most commercial hotel chains, which would be lucky to have them. You’ll enjoy the extra-spacious rooms no matter who you are. The surroundings are bucolic and peaceful.

Very clean rooms & bathroom, which is a nice exception in comparison to all Fletcher hotels in the neighborhood, nice area around the hotel, very kind personel including students in the restaurant during the breakfast.

The hotel structure is beautiful, the restaurant and bar are cosy.There is akso a small swummingpool and saunas. But the hotel is located outside of the city centre and the rooms have an awful view on commetcial buoldings. Terrible experiemce with one of the receptionist who showed no signs of being service minded.

Spacious rooms, but they're ok. They charge high prices just to give you the cheapest amenities. I don't think I've ever stayed in a hotel with cheaper one ply toilet paper. Someone must've gone out of their way to fine the roughest toilet paper that the Netherlands has to offer. Huge room, but no full body length mirror. Just one mirror in the whole room. Was here for a meeting. Had a small lunch before the meeting which tasted good. Didn't make use of the rooms so can't judge that but overall the lobby and restaurant looked attractive so I assume the rooms meet the same standard.

Lovely Hotel. Nice concept for family getaway. Beautiful lobby to hangout. The room is very spacious and comfortable. We arrived at night and all looked beautiful. In the morning you could see that the bathroom was not thoroghly cleaned. Found hair from precious guest, dust in corners and dirty tile grout.

We have been coming to the Holterhof for years. Now for the first time for a weekend. Because of 1 particular employee, we did not really like it and we would not do this again. I believe the woman is called Xio, a somewhat smaller blond older lady. She walks around as if she is the queen and is not at all hospitable to the guests. It is enjoyable, everything is good, restaurant serves huge portions but delicious dishes prepared with care.
