Great pool, spacious room. I have stayed here before and always had a great time. I had the luxury of having the indoor pool to myself - Awesome!! Good breakfast but would have liked a warm veg option such as beans or mushrooms. The room was big and spacious with a comfortable bed. The only area for improvement was the peeling paint outside on the balcony. Some TLC needed there.

I tried to alter my booking dates through Expedia's website, was informed by their Bot that it'd all been taken care of. Didn't receive the promised confirmation email so called the hotel to check and it hadn't happened at all. The outside environment is beautiful, the room is clean and tidy, the room size is not very large, but the basic equipment is complete. The hotel is located in the forest, self-driving is more convenient, and it is suitable for vacation travel.

Good coffe, the best in North of Netherlands. I had drink more coffee, and this is the best, with color, smell and terrific taste.

I enjoyed the location of the hotel in the woods. My single room was better than most I've stayed in. I swam in the nice indoor swimming pool and the breakfast buffet was really good. I hired an e-bike from the hotel and visited Borculo where I enjoyed the mineral museum and the old mill wheel. Also the castles at Ruurlo and Vorden. Lochem had a nice market square too.

Nice hotel with basic rooms (I like that they have a small balcony and seating area in each room). We had a room right above the swimming pool, maybe that inspired us, because we swam every morning. The hotel comes with a nice restaurant and a lovely billiard pool table.

the property is on a two minutes drive from the coty centre of Deventer very reachable and clean!

Staff were very nice and helpful, also after my stay (needed an invoice via email). Lots of parking space, and - very important for me - rooms are quiet. Bed and room were clean, bathroom could have been cleaner though.

Nice location, unfortunately you have to park your car in the parkhouse (10 EUR per 24 hours). Personal is very friendly.

The location is in the city center. The staff was helpful and the room was clean. No aircon nor the umbrella that we can borrow if its rain outside. The breakfast was good with plenty choices.

Great hotel This is an amazing hotel, very friendly staff. If you get room 5 however, be warned it's a fantastic room but the speaker for the bar is just through the wall and as this room is a duplex your head is next to the sound until 1.00/1.30am

Lovely hotel five minutes from the train station and the town centre. Friendly staff and a great room full of quirky details. Bar downstairs looked elegant with a good atmosphere but we didn’t use it ourselves.

Very nice room, close to the center of Deventer. It had all we needed and more, the windows even got outside shaders so it was as dark as a moonless night. Breakfast was superb.

cosy spot in the very heart of this centuries olde city. friendly staff. fine dutch breakfast. we had a romantic room underneath the roof with eclectic antiquish furniture. some interior details ask for renovation however. despite this, yes, i'd recommend it.

It's not just the hotel. We haven't seen more than the entrance: an old-fashioned cafeteria annex candy store. And we came back for it! In the context of the city you might call it "The old candy shop" Very "gezellig", as the Dutch say.

Nice hotel, great staff. Being an old hospital, the rooms are a bit of a strange configuration (at least ours was). The hotel is located in the restricted vehicle / pedestrian area of town so transporting luggage is a bit more of a chore. Nice stay overall, and good breakfast.

Location unique and my small room was very good against a good price.

It is an historic building, very authentic, that was very nice. But because of that, it was noisy. The city of Deventer is very nice. There was no restaurant in the hotel-building. Only for breakfast. There was a Fletcher-offer : 3 course diner included, and lower price to stay, but because of the lac of a restaurant, they could not give me the offer, they also did not lower the prise.

Walkable from the hotel! We fell in love with this place especially when it was built in the 1700's and was very easy to walk to city centre from the hotel.

We think the hotel was OK, needs a bit of an update, faster lift, better beds, a spare pillow should be provided, bigger TV in the room/ too small for the room size. The wifi was very slow and not really suitable to try and use for business purpose in my experience. It is nicely situated and the staff were friendly, an update of the technology would improve it a lot.

Great hotel, just could be cleaner. Facilities are good, but the quality is lower than what I am used to from 4 star hotels. Too bad there is no refrigerator in the room. Bedding is also not that nice, doesn't feel completely fresh.

Overall a really pleasant hotel. Rooms are older however they have been refurbished recently so everything looks fresh. Rooms were clean and beds are good. It's suitable for vacation, in the forest, the air is very good. Unfortunately, I'm here on a business trip. The facilities are not new, but they are clean and tidy. But if you don't drive yourself, the transportation is a bit inconvenient. When I left, I asked the front desk to help me call a car.

We only stayed there one night as it was very convenient for our purpose. The lady at reception was very friendly and te room was spacious, light and clean, with comfortable beds and a good shower.

The room is generally clean and the equipment is relatively old. I personally prefer hotels with bathtubs and balconies, so I always book a room on the first floor. The room space is just right. The hotel has bicycles for rent and the outdoor environment is very good. Therefore, Apeldoorn is an alternative hotel when I come to Apeldoorn many times. .

I booked this room for an academic conference. The room was very clean, and the hotel being located right inside the University of Twente was incredibly convenient. The breakfast was also excellent, and the front desk staff were very enthusiastic and welcoming.

The student trainees did a great job, better than most commercial hotel chains, which would be lucky to have them. You’ll enjoy the extra-spacious rooms no matter who you are. The surroundings are bucolic and peaceful.

Good value In general thos hotel chain is a good value. Some of them are better than others. The Enschede hotel is older and the restaurant was nearly as nice as others weve stayed in. Service was very good.

Awesome Stay From our entrance to our exit staff was kind, pleasant, very helpful in assisting with travel needs around town. Great amenities (pool, gym, restaurant, bar) for all travelers. All staff made us feel at home away from home.
