The heating in our room wasn't working properly, and the toilet seat was very loose. When we reported this, they took appropriate action. This was perfectly fine. The service was also polite and friendly. However, dinner in the restaurant was definitely not good. Basic dishes were already quite expensive, and you had to order vegetables and potatoes or fries. Then it became very pricey. The portions were very small and some weren't warm enough. A real disappointment. The hotel was good, but the restaurant food wasn't great.

Great pool, spacious room.
I have stayed here before and always had a great time. I had the luxury of having the indoor pool to myself - Awesome!!

Good breakfast but would have liked a warm veg option such as beans or mushrooms.

The room was big and spacious with a comfortable bed.

The only area for improvement was the peeling paint outside on the balcony. Some TLC needed there.

I stayed in this hotel many times in past years for a lot of business trips. Bit old fashioned, but a quite nice spot and kind people. But this time it was the last time they see me there. Never again!!! I booked the hotel during a weekend for 3 nights. As this was kings birthday the price was double to normal, which I can accept due to the big demand. When I arrived I kindly asked to cancel the last night as my jab had changed. They refused as the "official" cancel-rule is 5 days before. Ok, I have legally to accept, even knowing they were fully booked and could have easy sell again. Also my company stayed here in past months for a least 100 nights. A bit more concession would be appreciated, at least from the manager. Anyway if this is what they want, they just do not see me again in future. Many good alternatives around. They also charge now extra for the sauna (open till 21:00) so not really much time after work also. But the top they charge me with, was the electrical charging station. If I charge at a hotel, I usually do this overnight as during the day, I need my car. So I parked and started the car around 23:00 and unplugged it in the early morning. The charge for kWh was reasonable with 38ct/kWh. But what I was not aware, that they charge 10.8 ct/minute (!!!) for the time over 4 hours. That added up to 56€ just for the time. What do they expect? That I get out of my bed at 3:00 at night to unplug my car? This charging model is ok for street charging on a road during the day - but not for a hotel (where people intend to sleep). The awful smell in the bathroom is not even worth to tell against all above.

I tried to alter my booking dates through Expedia's website, was informed by their Bot that it'd all been taken care of. Didn't receive the promised confirmation email so called the hotel to check and it hadn't happened at all. Thank you so much to the guy at the hotel for re-arranging everything so perfectly, otherwise we'd have turned up without a reservation. Next time we'll book with the hotel directly. You find out how good an organisation is when you need them to help you out and ******* failed utterly on this occasion .

The outside environment is beautiful, the room is clean and tidy, the room size is not very large, but the basic equipment is complete. The hotel is located in the forest, self-driving is more convenient, and it is suitable for vacation travel.

The hotel has been renovated since my last visit. At first it gave a good impression. But, the room was not the one I booked. They gave me the key to a small suit, in stead of the large suite I had payed for. The room had some sort of stinking purfume sticks in the room. The beds weer too soft. The soap was some sort of foam, and not a gel. It was also far too smelly. The area that used to be the main resturant, was now reserved for breakfast. What used to be a very nice lounge was now the resturant. I have to admit everything was clean, and the staf were very pleasent.

The hotel itself is nice, the location is beautiful, the scenery is top notch. This review is focused towards the staff of this location. The front desk, the kitchen, the service staff. The hospitality I received from the staff during my stay was beyond any that I have ever received in the countless hotels that I've stayed in this world. The understanding and care speaks volumes to the Dutch people or just the people of this staff. I wish I had the means to show my appreciation to you all with more than kind words. Thank you for listening, thank you for caring. Don't let my decision change who you all are.

Lovely, quiet hotel in beautiful surroundings.
We had a really nice stay - only one night, travelling through, wish we could have stayed longer! One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The large swimming pool was very clean and empty when we there. Nice bar with pool table and very friendly staff. Pleasant 15 minute walk through the forest to get to the centre. Would definitely stay here again.
