Amrath Grand Hotel de l'Empereur in Maastricht

A wonderful stay! An attractive room right in the center with good beds and a beautiful bathroom. The rooms are also well soundproofed. The staff is pleasant and the breakfast is good. One problem that still needs to be addressed is the hotel room doors, which close due to poorly adjusted closers. As a result, the door slams against the frame, an unpleasant surprise. A slight discordance for this charming hotel.

Amazing location, very convenient to get around. Clean room. Helpful staffs with 24 hr receptionist.

The hotel's location is excellent, right across from the train station, just a street away, and the bus station is also opposite, making transportation incredibly convenient. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and a supermarket across the street. There's an elevator, which makes getting upstairs very easy. The breakfast was also good.

Had a pleasant 1 night stay. Location is perfect and breakfast was good. One point to note - parking is available but it's paid.

Stairs to reception, no lift to reception - not good for disabled people - apparently the other entrance was locked but it has a platform for wheelchair accessibility to the reception/dining room and the lift to other levels. That would have been helpful instead of dragging my suitcase and backpack up about 10 steps to reception. Not good for disabled people with heart condition and brain injury and balance issues. There was no buzzer to call for assistance and couldn't leave suitcase on the street. They need to provide instructions to guests with disabilities to proceed to the other locked door and have a buzzer on that door.
Other than that everything was great

Good location, nice serving and clean room.
But the facilities are really old. I think the most modern thing is the LCD TV.
We have to said the room and the reception are nice and helpful. They are willing to answer questions and help to solve your problems.

Mattresses are very very soft. I would not know anyone who likes that. Both of us did not sleep well in theses beds. We would not choose this hotel again although everything else was fine.

Nice hotel right next to train station. Hotel is in historic building, so amentities are a bit old, but everything was sparkling clean. Staff at reception was welcoming as well.

Perfect for the bus and train Station. The hotel was exactly what was required for exploring the city.
Room was very comfortable.
