Our room (9) was reached by 4 flights of stairs. In the room was a 12 foot steep stair case to the bathroom. There is a step up bath. I’m 65 not easy!
Upon check out I was asked to pay but had already done so. Those precious minutes trying to sort that out made us miss our train. No apology given.
It was an expensive 2 nights and not value for money.
On the positive side it is very close to the square and a nice gentleman took our suitcases up to our room.
I’m sorry but I can’t recommend.

A perfect place in Maastricht

Loved the location within the city center in Maastricht and the personalized, friendly attention of the staff. Can only regret I did not stay longer!

Absolutely beautiful hotel with a quiet courtyard. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet, and the staff at the hotel were professional and helpful too. Would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone!

The hotel is gorgeous with an Italian charm. It offers a beautiful terrace to enjoy breakfast or afternoon drink. The staff is great and Charles & Marlou are fantastic hosts. Very close to everything, especially the beautiful Vrijthof and the plaza where we enjoyed the most amazing concert by André Rieu & his orchestra with other fantastic invited musicians and singers. Maastricht, the birthplace of André and the Euro, is a "must visit" city.

Perfect location and old style comfort.
Comfortable and agreable, great location. Last century classic building with a lovely inside patio and living room. Clean and modern bathroom. Rooms could use a little “refreshing” in terms of colors and style.

Fabulous hotel in the heart of the old town of Maastricht. Felt right at home and looked after by Valerie, Jack and team during our short stay. Such tasteful decor throughout with eclectic pieces of art, contemporary and classic. A delightful addition is a magical garden to admire and relax in. A bonus is the rooster nearby which is such a lovely way to wake up each morning (owner keeps it housed till a reasonable morning time!!).

Very beautifully decorated with lovely furniture and flowers, walking distance from centrum, very good service, good breakfast in the centre courtyard. Staff was very nice and helpful. Overall excellent stay.

We had been there for drinks, and the place was just outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy an aperitif and spend a really pleasant hour.”

I came to Britannique with some friends and colleagues, and it was a wonderful experience! Our waitress, Bo, made the evening even better — she was incredibly open, kind, and welcoming from the start. She even noticed my excitement about being there and said she was happy because we brought such nice energy, which really made us feel appreciated.
The food was also great — especially the calamari, which was absolutely delicious.

Food was okay, fries weren't even baked at all, other food was good. Service was bad, as we had to wait for over 15 minutes sometimes to order something or to get attention of the waiting staff.
