Not perfect but ok.
Room was big enough but the bathroom was very small. Could use some more cleaning.
The breakfast is not for vegetarians. You can eat only fruits as they don’t have any veggies.
We had to leave our bicycles on the street so had to take out all the bags from them.

The bathrooms are too small. But the rooms are good for a short stay and just sleeping. It feels historic and charming. Has decent breakfast.

The location of this hotel is good, and it was clean, staff very nice, but it's a pretty run down old hotel, and our room was really small and terribly hot, even with the window open, and the fan running 24 hours, it was still really hot.
Bathroom is tiny.
breakfast doesn't open until 9AM, which is quite late if you want to get up and go somewhere, so we had to get breakfast at a different place.
Also, note, Parking, even though the hotel wasn't full, there were no available parking and we had to park away from the hotel. - you should call ahead and ask about parking.

Simple hotel, with good beds and somewhat outdated (bath)rooms without air conditioning. Cleaning every day, new towels and our clothes neatly folded. Friendly staff doing what they have to do. It's a shame that the hotel is quite large and only offers breakfast for guests and possibly a drink if you sit on the terrace or lounge. This could well be a bustling grand cafe with a cozy bar, drinks menu and something to eat. The advantage is that they are certainly not pushy and you can feel free to play a game or read a book. But there is plenty of nightlife in Valkenburg. It is not entirely fair that this hotel has single-handedly increased the tourist tax from €2 to €4.25 per person per day. This is just a hidden price increase of the room, but who checks this or knows this. You are looking for an inclusive room price and expect that all hotels will pass on the same amount to their guests and not secretly add 2.25 people per night on top for their own interests! They still said no, this is the city tax, in my opinion misleading and not allowed!! Limburg was beautiful again and we had a great midweek.

The hotel was very clean, host and hostess very nice. Excellent hotel, quietly located and yet in the center.
Breakfast was good and neatly prepared. Enjoy a drink on the terrace, wonderfully quiet.
The only downside was that the mattress was a bit too soft for us, but that is very personal.

It is a very nice place. The room was very clean, comfortable beds. The hotel staff very nice and helpful.

Cozy and clean hotel with a fair price tag. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is perfectly located near the train station. Would definitely recommend.

My first visit to this hotel and Valkenberg, my better half its her third visit, I'm impressed with both.
The hotel is well situated for the town and is quiet and very pleasant.
Not the Hilton but Hilton's aren't all they're cracked up to be, this however is. It's a small family run business and they work very hard to make your stay welcoming and enjoyable.
The rooms are clean and tidy, perfect for a stay that will involve exploration.
The bar has an intimate, cosy feel to it.
Personally I will come back to both the town and this hotel

Just returned home after a week with our school group of 40 at this hotel. It is a great hotel, the rooms were clean and comfortable with all conveniences working well - great showers. Particularly good to have our pupils all in small areas so they were easy to keep an eye on in the evenings. Brilliant social area downstairs made available so pupils could play cards, sit and chat, buy soft drinks, play table football and pool - we had a staff /pupil pool competition, great atmosphere. The Hotel owner is a true 'people person' very accommodating and helpful with any problems, was keen to have any feedback so he could improve the experience for the next group. Well positioned in Valkenburg, walking distance to bowling / town centre etc. Recommended fo any teachers looking to take school groups to Valkenburg, nicer than the other hotel/s we have used there in the past.
