Location was easy to find and very convenient. Walking distance from the train station and Red Light District. Numerous restaurants and shops surrounding the hotel as well for convenience. Staff was very friendly and approachable. Stayed in the Deluxe Twin room x 1 night. Bathroom was spotless. Room was also clean, spacious and cozy.

Amazing location, at Chinatown area with a lot of food options. Walking distance to almost everything.

It was decent. The hotel is quite new, but the room lighting is very dim. It's close to Chinatown and a certain red-light district, just a few minutes' walk away. It's also near the station, about a 5-minute walk.

I stayed at France Hotel Amsterdam on October 22, 2026, and was pleasantly surprised. The service was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and featured a large double bed. The only downsides were the lack of a city view and the fact that no breakfast is provided.

Our stay at this hotel was very pleasant. We arrived unexpectedly after our flight was cancelled and we were looking for a room without a reservation. The gentleman at the reception was extremely kind, helpful and supportive. He arranged a room for us right away and assisted us with the heating and everything we needed during a very stressful and disappointing situation. If he happens to read this review, we would like to thank him sincerely — his help meant a lot to us. The room was decent, clean, and the location is right in the city center. We highly recommend this hotel.

I honestly cant fault this hotel one bit. The location is perfect 5minute walk from the Main Strip, 5 minute walk from the train station

The staff are FANTASTIC. Me & my partner was stuck in Amsterdam due to the snow and they found us a room right away for the 2 extra days we was stuck. They made sure we had everything we needed and we was OK at all times. We forgot our plugs and one of the hotel workers let us use his own personal one for the 2 days we was stuck there

100 percent will be returning but in the summer next time. Will recommend this hotel to everyone.

I have stayed here a few times and the staff on the reception go above & beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The guys on the front desk Ahmed & " Jackson " Lol I know he aint called Jackson but that's what i call him from now on as he introduced himself as that lol If he is reading this he will know who i am haha I'm going back in May to see my 2 lovely adopted sons. All the staff at France Hotel are so nice & you are right in the red light district just across from the train station

As always Prins Hendrick is the best place to stop for a beer and some people watching 😉 Good beer, good food and very friendly staff who will remember you from one year to the next! We have also stayed in the hotel ( not this time) and the friendly good service runs the same plus a very excellent breakfast 😘

You get a decent room for a reasonable price at the heart of Amsterdam. The rooms are clean but the interior is a bit used. The staff was very child friendly. The breakfast is simple, but good.
