The hotel's cleanliness wasn't great; there was a thick layer of dust in many areas, which made it feel like housekeeping wasn't thorough enough. It's a shame and a bit of a waste because the hotel's decor and facilities are actually quite nice, and I heard it's an older, well-established hotel. Roomkeeping definitely needs improvement. When I checked out, I mentioned the cleanliness issues to a nice guy at the front desk. He apologized and even waived the parking fee, which was really good service, hats off to him. Breakfast was standard, had everything you'd expect.

The spa and the fitness room will definitely be the selling points for this hotel. And it’s next to the railway station.

A lovely van der Valk that lacks nothing. The rooms are small but fully equipped. Especially the view is breathtaking. Easy to get to the city by metro. 5 minutes walk and a few stops to the center. Perfect! The highway runs next to the hotel. Since the hotel room is equipped with double glazing, you really don't hear anything! Very nice. Points for improvement: - the bar (especially in the evening) really needs to be bigger and more spacious. There is (almost) no space here. The bar service is mostly about making expensive "high-end" cocktails, instead of making sure everyone drinks/gets a drink. In my opinion, this could all be organized much better/more efficiently. - We booked a dinner package. It's a shame we had to choose from the same menu on both evenings. The main course was a choice of fish/meat/vegetarian. Why not choose from a different menu every day? The dinner was also very good. Breakfast was great, lots of choice! In short: a very nice hotel in a great location. Highly recommended!
