Hotel Restaurant Old Bridge in Amsterdam

The hotel was horrible. The sheets were unwashed and stained. The bathroom light was broken and overall the bathroom layout was horrendous. The only good thing was the view and the location. The staff were nice but overall not a good experience.

This hotel used to be ok now it's just not good, great location just laks a few things, kettle in the room would be good, rooms need a touch of TLC too, people coming in at all ours doors banging people running up down the wooden step staircase.....had to have light on all the time as no natural light....surprised booking dot come allows them to advertise on the site tbh. We only went for the weekend and have stopped here before but it's really gone down hill

Please do not stay here.Terrible value for money.Only positive is the location in central Amsterdam.You need to be buzzed in to the hotel by a member of staff in cafe next door before using your key to enter hotel.The room was like a sauna even in November,the fan provided to counter that was very loud,so could not sleep.Large step in to the bathroom is dangerous when dark so very dangerous, particularly for older people.Television was not linked to Ariel,therefore did not work but that was not important. Falsely advertised as having a bar,a breakfast area & restaurants but those are attached to the building separately & have no bearing on hotel therefore costs more money. Hotel asked for 50 euros deposit up front in case remote control was damaged,( but TV wasn't set up at all) or key for room was lost. Amsterdam was fantastic but will never recommend or visit this hotel ever again & would advise to avoid at all cost.
