Very friendly staff. We arrived late at night due to our flight and had to survive a few more hours in Amsterdam, but the receptionist made an exception for us, allowing us to check into our room early and get some rest! Many thanks to her!

The room was on the small side, and since it was on the street side, it was a bit noisy, but we were told this in advance.

Great location because you are close to everything and it is very accessible.

Breakfast is available at the reception, and they sell a few items such as toothbrushes, etc., all of which are eco-friendly.

Highly recommended. I visit Amsterdam regularly, and this is a hotel I would return to!

Stayed 4 days in this hotel. Great location. Room was pretty big, one large bed (I would say between queen and king size), and one twin size. Separate shower, sink and bathroom. They have breakfast in the lobby for extra, we didn’t eat but looked very fresh. Wine and cheese free from 5-6 pm daily. Super friendly stuff. Room was cleaned daily. Check in and check out was very easy and quick.

As it was my first time in Amsterdam, and during a particularly unique holiday season, the warmth and guidance I received meant a great deal to me. The team was not only professional, but deeply humane, attentive, and supportive, especially in helping me navigate a few personal challenges during my stay. That level of care is rare and unforgettable.

A heartfelt thank you to Rakha, Monica, and Hatem. Your kindness, presence, and generosity of spirit made this experience far more than just a hotel stay. You created a sense of comfort, belonging, and ease that I will always remember.

The Conscious hotel is ideal for visiting Amsterdam, offering a welcoming and professional atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally kind, attentive, and supportive, making us feel truly at home. The rooms are modern, immaculate, and comfortable, with a peaceful ambiance that enhances the overall stay. The location is excellent, and every detail, from cleanliness to comfort, has been carefully considered. We would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning on our next visit.

The hotel has an excellent location — close to the airport, museums, the city center, and the concert hall. The room was spacious, and those facing the back are very quiet, with no street noise at all.

I’d like to mention the lovely lady from housekeeping (I didn’t catch her name, but she’s from Israel) — she was extremely kind, cheerful, and energetic. Honestly, she deserves to be at the front desk. She was by far the most customer-oriented staff member I met, and she really made a difference in my overall experience.

Now, the parts I didn’t like: there’s no real reception. There’s a person present, but that same person is also the bartender, the receptionist, and basically does everything.

Also, none of the rooms have an actual bathroom door. There’s only a small door separating the toilet, but not the shower area. Apparently, if you ask, they can provide a panel as a temporary “door,” but this really shouldn’t be the case in a 4-star hotel.

Another issue — the hotel provides almost no amenities. Only soap and shampoo are included — no vanity kit, sewing kit, toothbrush or toothpaste, slippers, or minibar. You can buy some of these at the hotel, but the prices are heavily marked up, which feels unreasonable for this category of accommodation.

Overall, the location and the kindness of the housekeeping lady were definite positives, but several aspects of comfort and service did not meet 4-star expectations.

This place was perfect for us. The location is in a lovely neighbourhood with quick access to transport links and tourist attractions. The room itself is perfect for couples, large and clean with perfect cooking amenities for a 3-day stay! Have stayed here before and will definitely stay here again!

Very comfortable hotel, ideal for visitors wanting to visit the museum's in Amsterdam.
The staff are brilliant, so helpful.
Breakfast was fresh and most if it local.

Clean and neat hotel, central location and quiet at night. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Skipped the breakfast here, but the alternatives around are plenty.
