This was easily one of the worst hotels I've ever been to. The washroom also had a shower and the shower completely flooded the washroom floor. There was no separation and the water didn't go down fast enough. Complete disaster. Never going back.

Bathroom is separate from the room, other guests share same one. It's very loud, i couldn't rest at all.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Super friendly staff, lovely room and general cleanliness was brilliant. The only thing I would suggest is perhaps the beds were a little uncomfortable - not the mattress, but when you would turn on them it would feel like the whole thing was going to topple. Apart from that, the view from our window, use of the shower and toilet and it's closeness to the city centre made this trip stress-free and very enjoyable.

Lovely spacious room with ensuite. Ideally located . very clean. Comfortable bed. Staff very accommodating on arrival.Allowed us to book in early .Only down side was no tea,coffee making facilities in the room

I would never return.
I would not return to this hotel ever. The people there were very rude. Most of the electric outlets in the room didn't work. The bed is very old and uncomfortable. There is a window but no ventilation. The bathroom was dirty.

Honest review.
Pros - The owners were lovely dont know why there are lots of comments about the being rude. The location is amazing with fantastic links to all locations via trams and its nice and quite especially for being in the city. We didnt eat breakfast but the facilities for dinning was clean and well laid out. The bed was large enough and comfortable, i always take my own pillow when i travel. We also had doors which open onto the balcony.

Cons - the hotel does feel quite outdated and a bit more like a hostel. We paid extra for a private bathroom, these arent attached to the room but it wasnt that much of an issue to be honest.

Overall we had a really comfortable stay it just felt like it needed updating a little

The owners were helpful and welcoming. The location is excellent, and the building was quiet considering how central it is. The beds were comfortable and clean. Everything was quite compact, but serviceable. I would stay here again.

We stayed in the Triple Room (Room 19) and were overall very satisfied with our experience. The owner, who has been running the hotel for 46 years, was extremely kind and welcoming – just like Even, the Asian lady at the reception, and Payman, the Iranian staff member who also helped us a lot. Big thanks again to all four of you! One thing we really appreciated: there was always someone at the reception, even at night and early in the morning. You could also get hot water for free anytime, which was very convenient. The room was clean, especially the shower was well-maintained. The toilet was a bit small, but that’s okay for a city hotel. The sofas could have been a bit cleaner, but that was the only small downside. And about those reviews mentioning bed bugs – we honestly saw nothing at all in Room 19, and we didn’t get any bites either. Everything was perfectly fine. Conclusion: A charming hotel with great and helpful staff, perfect for a short and comfortable stay in Amsterdam.

The staff at this hotel are super helpful and friendly. I suggest only booking a room with a bathroom in it. The bathroom we had to use was so tiny it was hard to use. Overall it was ok, they could do a few minor upgrades like, more than two hooks in the room to hang your cloths, a fan when it's hot and a hook or two in the separate showers to hang your clothes while showering. If you have trouble with stairs be warned, the steps are very narrow.
