The bar/ cafe downstairs was great and the food was nice, staff were also very friendly.
Stayed here for a few days with my mum. The room was nice and made up as the requested twins but due to the shape of the room there was no way around the bed expect to step over the bed it’s or crawl over which isn’t great for my 82yr old mum. I had to split the beds up and rearrange them.
The bedside tables are cheap and wonky so had to tighten up the bolts. The wardrobe door handle kept hitting the bathroom switch and the other door wouldn’t open due to the ceiling beam.
Daily the bins were emptied and fresh towels left.
The location itself was great for getting about although our room was at the front so heard a lot of the road noise.
The location of the hotel was excellent. The hotel was great for 2 nights stay. Nothing to complain about.
The rooms and common areas are very clean. The staff is great too and meals in the restaurant are very good.
However, be aware that this very much a budget hotel with no lifts, no room decor and minimal room amenities. It is better suited to spry students, who don’t mind stairs or for those on a strict budget. There is no air conditioning in the rooms as in many European countries.
However, that being said, we did enjoy our stay here although it got a bit noisy at night as the area around it is very popular and is home to many bars and restaurants.
Really nice accommodation very central to the old city. Rooms are quite small but clean and tidy and all that's required for a city break. The food in the bar is excellent as well and the staff are friendly
