Apart from the quite expensive price, I give the Apollo Hotel Amsterdam and it's grete team compliments.

The room is OK, facing the canal, the scenery is nice, the corridor inside the hotel is also beautiful, close to the South Station, and it takes more than 20 minutes to walk to the Van Gogh Museum. The front desk is very experienced.

What is very disturbing is that in all the rooms the advert they show bathtubs and the rooms only have a shower. This hotel is not worth the name Hyatt.

I'd recommend this hotel. We especially liked the wellness area—small but perfectly formed. It was also quick to get to central Amsterdam using the nearby metro. The room had a pleasing design. Unfortunately, you couldn't watch Netflix or anything similar on the TV. This really needs to be updated; it's completely out of date.

If there wasn’t places to see in Amsterdam you could easily have a holiday just chilling and getting immersed in the dreamy groovy atmosphere of the hotel lobby. The stay was amazing. We were traveling with our 4 year old. The hotel was quiet and clean, the staff kind. The hotel was conveniently located in front of a tram stop and provided bikes ready to rent. What the hotel lacks in its location, it makes up for in spacious room and its stunning view of the harbour. I liked the sumptuous breakfast spread too. It was a good stay for the price, but I found it somewhat disconcerting that they gave me a stained towel.

The room wasn't huge, but it was fully equipped and stylishly designed, even with a working record player! The hotel's ground floor has a bar, a pool table, and a vintage camera. The location is super convenient; you can walk to the free ferry in 3 minutes to get to Central Station, making it easy to go anywhere. It was a really unique experience!
