Travel Hotel Amsterdam in Amsterdam

My friends and I stayed here for a few days and had a really good experience. The hostel was clean, well-organised, and had a nice relaxed atmosphere.
What really stood out was the staff — everyone was genuinely friendly and helpful without it feeling over the top. Special mention to Juan, who was especially kind and welcoming!

Stayed in a 3 bed w/ private bathroom. Based on the reviews and price I was pleasantly surprised, the bedding and general space was clean. The location was perfect. My main complaint was mold in the bathroom.

Honestly, this was a great place! Low rating reviews are from people who expect to get a luxury for cheap. Yes, stair are narrow and steep, so if you have health complications ask for lower floor before booking. And people complain about absence of elevator?! This is historical building, noone will die from climbing some stairs like people have been doing for not one millenia. Staff is nice and welcoming, haven't seen rude one. Only problem we had is thin walls, because our room was neighboring room with group of people that partied late, when people scream it sounds like right in from of your door, but we asked them to be quiet after certain time and problem was solved. It really is a travel hotel, where you come to sleep and explore a city not to live in room, for about 100$ a night right in the center of Amsterdam, it was a great choice to stay there

How does a budget hotel get 5 stars?

Rooms were very clear and better that expected. I new from the pictures what they were like and it was better. Very good condition. The location is 100% the best. Right in the heart near all the action, 5 minute walk to the train station. But mostly the staff are incredible. Very friendly and accommodating. All the front Desk staff were great. All went above to make are stay great. Inky was so very friendly and kind. We were a family with 2 children and this hotel made our stay in Amsterdam awesome - Thank you!!!!

Hostel very clean and very comfy. I wordy about the stairs for the older people as no lift, we had a fit 75 yrs old in our group but if ur not fit it wouldn't be good

The location is mad perfect, you are litterally at 100 mt from Dam's Square and Amsterdam Centraal station. At the same time we stayed in a room for six and the place was really clean. Also the receptionists were really kind and available for everything. There's also a bar where you can play billiard and order some drinks, but at the it was closed due to covid restrictions. The only downside is that the breakfast is not included, but that doesn't really matters with these convenient prices!
