Motel One Rotterdam in Rotterdam

This hotel is not far away from scam - be careful- AFTER booking I received message with information about €100 deposit payable BY CASH at reception desk!!! No information about it on their website!!!
I don’t have a problem if this information is black- white stated at their website, but is not…
And… don’t try call to “hotel” they not take a phone….

Unacceptable Hygiene Standards and Poor Service – Avoid at All Costs:

The only positive aspect of this hotel is its location. Situated on one of Rotterdam’s most popular streets, it is perfect for those who want to be in the heart of the nightlife and city center. However, be warned: it is very loud. If you are looking for a quiet night's sleep, this is not the place for you.

Service and First Impressions

While the entrance looks decent, the experience immediately goes downhill at reception. We were greeted by an unmotivated staff member in casual streetwear who processed our check-in with limited English and a dismissive attitude. While the price point is lower, the lack of professionalism was still disappointing.

Cleanliness and Facilities (The Biggest Issue)

The hygiene standards in this establishment are appalling.
• Common Areas: The stairs are incredibly steep and dangerous. Worse, the carpets were filthy—we saw what appeared to be bloodstains on the first floor and vomit stains on the second.
• The Room: The ceiling was covered in grime, and the corners of the room were neglected and disgusting.
• Bedding: This was the breaking point. The sheets were torn, and the duvet was covered in debris (skin flakes or similar particles). We even found a "cat sticker" matted with hair on the bedding.
• Bathroom: While the bathroom was marginally better than the bedroom, the ceiling here was also noticeably dirty.

Final Verdict

On our way out the next morning, the lobby was obstructed by a massive pile of pillows that guests had to squeeze past. Because of the unsanitary conditions, we chose to cut our trip short and check out early.
I strongly advise against staying here. The central location does not justify the lack of basic cleanliness and respect for guests.

from 10 pm to 12 pm it was very noisy, the hotel staff talked very loudly, my request to talk more quietly was responded to with rudeness and ignored, before going home the employee shouted very loudly, it is a pity that antisocial people work in such a place, since the rooms are equipped with a fairly good bathroom and good soap. This was on July 14, I regret my money spent because I was not able to sleep normally in silence

Hotel entrance is terrible as well as the stuff. The door was locked and the reception wasn’t exist. I waited five minutes he doesn’t even apologize I had never refundable reservation from the Priceline. I explained my situation and they refund my money. This is the verse I ever.
