ibis Styles Den Haag Scheveningen in Scheveningen

I was in here for a 10 day autumn holiday on my "Discover the Neterlands" trip. The hotel very near to the Beach of Den Haag, Scheveningen Beach (about 5 min walk). The city center, Den Haag Centraal station, Den Haag HS station about 20-30 min with public transport (bus and tram station before the hotel :) ). Some tourist attraction near by the hotel (the famous Scheveningen Beach, restaurants, Madurodam)

A really satisfied with the hotel, the hotel staff and the late evening salami pizza :-D. The breakfast very diverse, suitable for everyone's needs. The entrance hall is very stylish and comfortable, even for a short newspaper reading during the afternoon.

The one thing that I didn't like to much on my beach view room on the 6th floor, the wind. In windy weather the wind fully "sieged" the balcony of my room (unfortunately most of my stay).

Very kind staff. In particular Mr. Juan! What a wise and sweet guy he is.
I am verry pleased to meet him, and I hope this will be seen.

The room was pretty oke, but the location is ideal. Worth a comeback.

Great location to get tram into central Den Haag

Amazing hotel and a great stay. We had a top floor loft room facing the sea (try request when booking) huge balcony with table chairs and sun loungers. Rooms were cleaned daily, and towels changed. The cleaners were always happy to provide extra sugar or coffee. Had a small fridge in the room, which was very handy. The bathroom was bright, clean, and spacious. The instant coffee machine in the room was a great touch. I only drink tea, so I requested a kettle, which they kindly provided. Service was very good overall. We were always kindly welcomed by staff with smiles. Will definitely stay here again if we return. Thanks to all staff.

Good location, close to beach and shops, nice hotel.

Good location, good food, good service.
Was clean and nice. The automated front door broke so they needed to fix it and they did over the course of a day. Shows they stay on top of their maintenance. Room was good. Didn't empty the bin for the 4 nights we were there. The minibar (fridge) was empty (good) but was very small, could certainly have been bigger. The shower pressure was weak, even on the 1st floor, but was hot and consistent. The balcony was flooded the entire stay. The sofa bed was not comfortable, a mattress topper would have gone a long way. Key cards (both) randomly stopped working mid stay, but we're quickly fixed.
Staff were competent and friendly.
Breakfast was good, not great for anyone with dietary requirements.
No real guides of what to do in the city could be a nice improvement or a concierge service.
Location was excellent, short walk to the beach (no view of beach though).
Play area downstairs for children was OK.
Generally a pleseant stay, would return.
