Stayed here one night solo. Got a free upgrade and while it is an older building the room was super clean and the bed was tidy. The owner is super-friendly and welcoming. There are not many more other options providing this much at this price point.

Location wise its insane, 3 minutes from the beach and maybe two from the tram.

The photos are completely misleading! The room smells like mold!!! The bathroom is extremely small!! The staff are also extremely rude and unhelpful. ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!

The staff members were so friendly, polite, and so helpful. We really enjoyed staying in this place, it was so comfortable and close to interesting places.

We booked a 3-bed room in the basement and it was quite large and spacious and had access to the backyard patio. The staircase was a little narro for my liking but we managed not to injure ourselves.

The location was perfect and close to the beach, transit, and sites to see in the city by Tram.

The staff were very nice and polite and we enjoyed our stay.

The building is old, but considering the price, it was a good choice for a one-day stay as it had breakfast and a balcony. In the winter, even with the radiator on, it was still a bit cold, so I stayed under the blanket.

Honest review.
It’s a b&b - although relatively clean that’s about it. I’ve used this place a couple of times and even though I’ve asked to have a different room I’ve always been out at the top due to me being a long stay.
Room was freezing and no staff around in the morning when I leave for work so I had to go late into work to say the room was freezing and I was offered an extra blanket!
Shower has hardly any pressure and because I was in the “loft” I can’t stand up in the shower I have to go in with my neck at an angle. I’m 5ft8 ?
From day 1 my room isn’t cleaned - I usually stay 11 nights.
