I had a great stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Queenstown. It’s a very nice hotel that definitely offers good value for money. The location is excellent, with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. Breakfasts were very good — both tasty and nicely presented. Overall, a great place to stay in Queenstown.

Water taxi is 14 NZD per pax. But you can buy a card and the price is 10 NZD per pax. 1 card is enough even for a group of people, just top up sufficient amount

The facilities were new and great, and the sleep was comfortable, but there are a few things that need improvement:
1️⃣ The water temperature at night wasn't good.
2️⃣ The Wi-Fi kept disconnecting and I couldn't even connect to it.

The scenery is great and it's quiet. It comes with a small kitchen, but we were out all day and didn't use it. If you have more time, you could definitely buy some groceries and cook your own meals.

Modern Hotel a bit outside of Queenstown. The water taxi takes you directly over the lake to the city center.

Mainly, accommodation in New Zealand is just too expensive. Even the pricier hotels are quite average, to be honest. This one was close to the airport but a bit far from the city center, though you could take a ferry. Overall, it was pretty standard.

Booked a lake view room, which was quite nice. The location is very convenient if you have a rental car, and there are also boats to the city center. It has a kitchen, which is very handy. Excellent value for money, especially if you have a car. Parking costs 16.50 per day.

Just OK. We were a party of 4. 3 of us ordered only mains and 1 ordered entree & main. 2 mains come out then the entree. 10 minutes later another main and then another 10 minutes the last main. They only have 3 dessert options but had run out of 1 of them. They also had no pork. Never been to a Chinese restaurant that has run out of pork. Could be managed better. 3 stars is fair

Food was not seasoned, the lemon honey chicken is way too sweet, I had to add alot of salt and pepper to be able to eat it. We also ordered the beef, with black pepper suace, the suace had no flavour, beef was cooked nicey but again no seasoning. Again we had to add pepper and salt to make it eatable. Overly expensive for very basic Chinese food, looks like it's fine dinning Chinese but all the dishes have no flavour. Sadly sadly disappointed :(
