Hotel Klubben in Larkollen

Rooms do not have tea, coffee, or any other drinks facilities. Restaurant has nights where the only thing available is burgers and pizza. Gym is quite frankly hopeless, without towells and bins that haven't been emptied in weeks. Overall the hotel is dated and worn. TV doesn't have working news channels. There is no facility for room service at all at any time of day or night. In the night the hotel staff will make you wait up to an hour for a cup of tea if the machine is not working without offering any alternative solution. If that upsets you then the staff start shouting at you and become aggressive and threatening. When you complain to the manager they promise a room upgrade so that you get basic needs like drinks in your rooms, but they fail to deliver on that promise. I've been coming here for 13 years, since 2005, Ive stayed here for about 6 week trips in the past year alone. I will never come back again, and I would strongly suggest that this hotel is best avoided now. The establishment claims 4 stars, but as somebody who travels a lot, it really is closer to 2 star. They have a great location near the sea, but they ride that alone as their only real asset. if you strip that off then there isn't much else to say for it.
