Anker Hotel in Oslo

The breakfast buffet was the obvious highlight, lots to choose from and great quality. Location is great, everything you need is within walking distance, most importantly Oslo S. Cleaning service was nice and made sure to ask if I needed towels etc.

Thin walls tho, so the rooms are a bit noisy, you can definitely hear when your neighbor's phone is going off or when someone else is using the bathroom. Would have loved a fridge in the room as well. And this isn't affecting my review of course but the replies here are very obviously written with AI, I'm sure people would appreciate more human reponses.

The rooms were warm and everything was working perfectly. The breakfast offered a generous buffet selection, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
The only potential downside is that soundproofing could be better—you can hear noise from the corridor and neighboring rooms. If you’re sensitive to noise or prefer complete silence, this is something to keep in mind.

Nice hotel located in an convenient location.

The location is perfect, it’s located right outside the tram stop. It’s also easily walkable. I liked the area around the hotel as well, there is lots of walking routes around the river. There was a queue for check in when I arrived, so I utilised the self check in, which was easy and quick to use. Very useful when it is busy.

I booked the Family Room which was spacious and modern, the beds and pillows were comfortable. The room was missing a safe though, meaning there was nowhere to put valuables. The bathroom layout is a little tight, the glass for the shower doesn’t extend all the way to the floor. This means if you’re not careful you can soak the floor. The shower pressure was great though, which cancelled this out 😅 Only minor issues though, nothing else wrong with the room :)

The breakfast had a good variety and tasted good, everything was fresh. Make sure to come early if you want to avoid the crowds, it was much more pleasant. They had the busy times posted in the lifts.

I had nice room on 12th with beautiful view but, bathroom could be little bit bigger. Otherwise can't say anything bad about this place. Nice hotel with helpful and professional employees, nice and tasty breakfast, possibility to have foodbox to take away when you have no time for breakfast. Very good value for money.

We enjoyed our stay at Anker Hotel. The rooms were very clean, spacious and beds were comfortable. We booked a room with view, but a view on the fjords / waterside of Oslo is not guaranteed. The bathroom however was very small, and the water pressure of the shower was disappointing.

Service was very good, we received a complimentary breakfast box because we had to leave our room very early to catch a train. Breakfast buffet was tasty and clean.

Location is top-rate, with a tram stop right outside of the hotel. 15 minute walk to city center.

Clean and good hostel with lift to our apartment. 2 tram stops from central train station. Some shops within walking distance. Need to lay your own sheets and return at counter after check out

The Location and the accommodation is perfect for a group bookings. We are all 7 travellers and they accommodate us in one room. Staff are friendly.

The building is old but well maintained.
The studio has a kitchen and you can borrow a set of cooking instruments with 200 nok, if I remember correctly.

It was excellent place and value for money. Location was awesome.
