Love the hotel and its location. The breakfast was wonderful and abundant. Just wish the room was a lil bigger and the position of the bed was not facing/against the wall which made movement very limited

I used the gym, pool, and sauna every day, at different times of the day, and it was never too crowded. Finally, this hotel has one of the most incredible breakfast buffets I've ever experienced

The hotel is right next to Oslo Central Station, only a five-minute walk away. The rooms are new and well-equipped, and the service is excellent. I highly recommend staying here. The breakfast is also really good!

Airport: There's a hotel shuttle bus that drops you right at the entrance. It takes about an hour and costs over 300 NOK, which is significantly more expensive than taking the metro

Environment: Central location, very close to the cruise terminal and City Hall. Service: Good, with a 24-hour front desk

The location was perfect and everything was clean and available in the hotel. There was self service for breakfast which was well organized. The location for the hotel was also good for a good hike up and down.

(Service score was average just because there was none as such. Room service kicks in every three nights, but that was the length of my stay so I have no experience of this and it’s a self serve check-in and checkout

Over was a good location, we were housed across the street and there was very heavy rain. Flooding made it difficult to cross without getting wet and dirty. Maybe take a look into way to fix drainage and mud problems.

Every morning we would ask for fresh towels at reception and these were either provided there and then or delivered to the room within 10 minutes of the request

A Design Haven in the Heart of the City Oct 2025 • Solo Tucked just a block from Karl Johan high street, the Thon Hotel Rosenkrantz was the standout accommodation of my Scandinavian journey

Centrally located modern hotel with an on-site restaurant and a tram stop a few steps from the entrance. Our room, as the hotel, was well designed, both pleasing to the eye and restful

Missing a few places to store clothes (a couple of small shelves, one larger one but very high) but you can't have everything! Room had both iron and kettle which was great

I would recommend a room on the courtyard side if you are sensitive to noise because nearby bars are quite loud. But the glazing is excellent and it didn't bother us

Together with my wife decided to choose this restaurant for her birthday romantic dinner and it was good choice. It was calm, very cozy environment and very interesting, delicious food with appetizing design

The hotel is located near the pier, so there aren't too many tourists, making for a relaxing environment. The surrounding area is quite quiet, and shopping is convenient even if you're not into luxury goods

There is free coffee and tea around the corner from the reception, and they have a small reception area with some seating to you can get a drink or just wait for friends to come down to the lobby

There are so many different places to eat and a wide variety of food to chose from. The hotel is staffed by very nice people who speak a variety of languages

There's also a few convenient stores and supermarket nearby, it's not that difficult to find food, water or any other amenities easily

If you open the window, bugs may come in, so I recommend asking reception for a fan, which they kindly provided. Also, you can’t lock the room from the inside, which felt a bit unusual, but I still felt safe overall

The hotel is not far from the Central Railway Station, walk for 5 minutes. The transportation is convenient, and most attractions can be reached on foot. Breakfast is very rich, afternoon tea and dinner are very average.

The price is reasonable, or rather, cheap. The only downside: The rooms weren't cleaned once during our three days. Perhaps we overlooked this when booking and should have requested it

The hotel is located outside of Oslo on top of a hill with amazing views. The breakfast is very diverse and served in a huge buffet style. The check-in was fast and efficient, too us 2 minutes to check in at reception

Located 15 minutes walking distance from central train station. I stayed for 1 night in a female dorm: big lockers, metal bunk beds, great bathrooms facilities, towel is included in the linen they provide
