Had a great time in Bergen and Steen's just added to the experience. Friendly staff and lovely surroundings. This is an old hotel at the top of a steep hill, design is still if the nineteenth century, with a few modern changes especially in the very comfortable and spacious room. We both loved this and would use again if we get the chance to go to Norway again.

Excellent quiet location removed from enter city but close enough to have easy working access to bus and train stations as well as the sights. Very clean with extremely helpful and courteous staff. Tea room and breakfast facilities were delightfully refined and restful. Substantial, fresh breakfast offerings. We would definitely return there and recommend it to others.

Good stuff: great breakfast, room is fine, small park just outside, staff is nice, coffee and tea free when ever tu want. Bad stuff: upscale place so it is hard to go back to the hotel all the time, no elevator and breakfast is on the 1st floor, no safe in the room, small bathroom, bad curtains and window.

Clean , comfortable, good breakfast, a long walk from center of city . Located in a quiet section of the city near the university and a beautiful park .
