Very good location, the hotel is located right in the middle of city center and surrounding with various, restaurants and shopping mall. Easy to walk around to tourist places.

PERFECT. The hotel is central, behind the fish market, next to the old port, right in the market area. They gave us a free upgrade and provided us with the sea view room. If I had known what kind of view that room had, I would have chosen it from the start because at night, there is no better view of the old port than from that room. The room was modern and spacious, as was the bathroom. Regarding breakfast, you won't miss anything; on the contrary, there were many delicious options. The staff were extremely polite, always smiling, and ready to answer all our questions. I couldn't have lunch at their restaurant because they were closed, but I will do so when I visit the city again. My experience was excellent. I urge you to book rooms with a sea view.

I chose this hotel as a business owner for a trip organized by my travel agency. It was an absolutely excellent choice! The hotel is perfectly located, modern, beautifully designed, and the Superior rooms offer an incredible view of Bryggen (I highly recommend choosing this option!). On top of that, the breakfasts were world-class, offering everything from a classic English breakfast to fresh fruit, vegetables, cakes, gluten-free options, hard- and soft-boiled eggs, juices, herring, Norwegian cheese, porridge, and so much more.
Our stay was definitely brightened by the charming and always smiling receptionist Sandra (I hope I remembered the name correctly – I mean the brunette with curly hair and a smile from ear to ear), who gave us a very warm welcome and was always helpful, empathetic, and very knowledgeable. I will certainly come back here!

Great location and all staff have been wonderful. Our room had a great view although many rooms do not.
Staff changed our room to a very nice room. We come back in 2 weeks and staff moved us then to her favorite room in the hotel.

It's a good hotel; Modern, comfortable, perfectly-located, great views in some rooms, good quality food...
But the unfriendliness of some staff and general service makes it a bit worse.
Anyways it's a very good selection in Bergen and literally can't be better located, next to the harbour where fjord tour boats set off and the Bergen fish market.

The location was great but check-in was a nightmare. Shower without curtains making water it a big mess and when I asked for more shampoo, they told me to go to another hotel to pick it up.

Since I wanted a physical room card, I checked in at another Magic Hotel branch. Maybe the occupancy rate was not high, so I was directly upgraded to another Magic Hotel branch for free. The other branch had a bigger room, included breakfast and was closer to the tourist area, very happy with it and really appreciated the upgrade.

The self-service check-in system at this hotel is absolutely infuriating! You’re forced to download a specific app to check-in, but when I logged in with my iPhone, I couldn’t unlock the room! Luckily, I had an Android phone, which barely worked. Then, not long after, the app logged me out and wouldn’t let me back in with the original password! I contacted customer service, and they told me to walk 5 minutes to the service desk to get a physical key card—already frustrating enough—but when I asked what was wrong with the app, they just said, "I don't know." I ended up wasting over two hours of my time! This kind of service is completely unacceptable!
