Palace Museum Espaço Palmeiras in Porto

This is a unique place to stay. It is a former grand home that is now a museum. The rooms are huge and it is very quiet. The location is very close to everything, but is also a beautiful respite with frescoes and anitque furniture. The hostess is very nice and greated us with a chat about Porto and a some port. This was a great place to stay.

This house is full of stories, heritage and calmness. If you are a person that appreciates architecture, art and culture this is a place to stay at. Not for one night or two but for as long as you can… Maria and João are two special characters… very lovely and charismatic… whenever we get to visit Porto again, we will return!

We had an amazing weekend stay at Palacete Museu in Porto. The room was beautiful and very comfortable, the setting absolutely stunning, and the warm welcome made us feel right at home. The location is perfect — close to everything yet peaceful and full of charm. Maria and Júlia were incredibly kind and attentive, making our stay truly memorable. We loved every moment and would definitely come back! Muito obrigado!

A Magical Stay in a Historic Gem – A Home Away from Home

From the moment we stepped into this stunning historical house, we were captivated. Immaculately clean—truly cleaner than my own home!—every detail of the space exuded elegance, class, and a deep sense of pride. The furniture was sophisticated, the interior walls beautifully decorated, and the abundance of natural light made the already spacious rooms feel even more inviting.

Our suite was cleaned daily, maintaining a level of perfection that made us feel completely at ease. But beyond the beauty of the place itself, what truly made our stay unforgettable was Maria, the owner. Her generosity, kindness, and discretion were remarkable.

If you’re looking for a stay filled with elegance, history, and heartfelt hospitality, look no further.

This is an amazing place to stay while in Porto! Built in 1850 with original paintings and charm. The location is terrific because it is walking distance to so many sight seeing areas, yet so quite and relaxing as soon as you walk inside the beautiful interior. The beds are great, each room has AC and Wifi. The breakfast and service are fantastic. The host will make you feel so special, they are wonderful people. Look forward to staying there again.
