Great stay at Star Inn Porto! Very clean hotel, good location with easy access to the city, and free parking is a big plus. Would definitely stay here again.
Very good hotel, worth the money
Nice clean comfortable hotel rooms. Shame that they accommodate too many children. In all fairness I was there for 3 nights the first 2 very good but on the last night, they must of put all the children on my floor. These children are at an age were they simply don't have the brain capacity to think. They were banging doors making noise till around 5 in the morning thus meaning I struggled to sleep...
For travellers by driving.  It is an amazing location.
The room is clean, breakfast don’t have much options but is still acceptable, location is a bit far from the city center and the river side but you can go by bus to the center, the station is just in front of the hotel entrance and cost you 2.5 Euro, otherwise you can grab a uber, is also very convenient and more cheaper if you are travelling with 3-4 persons. The only thing that admired me why a lot...
The Hotel service is very Good . Staff is very adorable and helpful and cleanliness in the hotel is excellent

Good location. near Casa de Musica, shopping arcade, supermarket, food court, bus stops nearby, convenient to take bus to tourist attractions. Metro station is a bit far away from hotel. The room and the bathroom are spacious. Breakfast is ok, less food variety, can be better. Will come again.
Nice and clean hotel. Very helpful and courteous staff. There is a nice Portugese restaurant nearby - Capa Negra II
The service at front desk was excellent and speedy. The room is cozy and clean. I enjoyed the stay.
A really lovely hotel in a great area. I stayed in the hotel twice during our trip.
It was an overall great stay. The room was very clean and had enough space for two people, though there was just a slight lack of drawers for clothes. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was clean and spacious, and the climate control system was excellent. Breakfast was enjoyable, featuring a buffet with various foods suitable for Europeans, more than enough to energize us before exploring...

Generally ok , but we were put at the floor with no lift , although is only one floor , but is a bit tiring to keep walking up n down
Location is within walking distance to the metro and catalina shopping street. No amenities and slipper provided. No early check in even IHG member.
Very nice and cosy hotel in wonderful city of Porto. Close to metro station from where you can accessany part of the city. Lots of wonderful restaurants nearby and bolhao market for green wine (vinho verde) experience with fresh food.
Excellent chain hotel in the center of Porto. Very close to everything. Good breakfast buffet.
Even though limited amenities, hotel is Centrally located to many attractions. All within walking distance.
The lack of a refrigerator in the rooms is a major shortcoming.

Classically elegant, very refined, with excellent service and a great location.
Friendly staff but the grand in grand hotel is for 100 years ago. You can hear people in the room next door, pillows like concrete..Yes, I like to sleep. Do you?
If you're looking for a hotel with history, stunning period decor where everything fits perfectly, this is the ideal spot. The location couldn't be better. The staff are very friendly. Breakfast offers the basics but is still good.
Everything else was great, except for the incredibly loud floor noise from the wooden floors. The creaking of the floorboards was truly extraordinary. The convenient transportation, good service, and ample breakfast were all excellent. The noise, however, was a major issue.
Great staff good service and very enjoyable stay

I had a wonderful stay at the ibis Porto Centro Mercado do Bolhão. The hotel was very clean, the service excellent, and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, and everything is easily accessible. The air conditioning wasn't working on the first evening, but it was fixed immediately. Highly recommended! ⭐️
Location is perfect really best price for this location. Hotel entertainment looks like apartment. Don’t be surprised It’s small and cute Don’t think rooms and balconies are big according to photos everything is small but useful. It will satisfy you
We love the location, close to markets, bolhao metro 5 min, bigger train station for intercity Porto São Bento 15 min walk. We walked everywhere for foods, shopping & sightseeing. The rooms were minimalist & functional. Beds and the room temperature were comfortable. Hotel looks clean inside the room & hallways. Staffs were friendly & helpful.
Clean room, very friendly attitude towards checking in with a dog, excellent walking distance to everything around.
The hotel was incredibly clean and excellent.
This is a pretty standard business hotel. The cleanliness and convenience were both excellent, but they didn't offer any complimentary water or snacks.

pedro couto was the best. we had great service. i will return.
Internet was breaking frequently and unreliable. Pedro from front desk was so helpful while I was parking - I was not familiar in parking on a closed lot with small spaces.
Pros: Very friendly & helpful staff, excellent breakfast with a large selection. Cons: Have to walk up a hill to get to the hotel from major attractions. Buildings in the neighborhood are a bit run down. There is a ******* two blocks away.
Clean, quiet, efficient staff. They let us check out an hour past check out time. Very happy with this hotel
It was clean, very comfortable beds and linen and a great shower. The people on the front desk were very welcome and we immediately felt like valued guests.

Would totally recommend this hotel, central, quiet, amazing retro memorabilia at every turn, rooms excellent, staff so friendly and kind and incredible value for money. Look no further if you are visiting Porto absolute gem.
We had a wonderful stay at Pão de Açúcar Hotel in Porto. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and professional, and we were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a Double Room with a Balcony, which made our stay even more special. The room was clean, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a full day of exploring the city. The price was excellent for a 3-night stay, especially...
Staff professional and efficient
Upon a local recommendation, we chose this hotel, which is well-located in Proto near the centre as well as near many restaurants. It is a time tunnel back to the last century, regarding the various devices that adorn the beautiful elliptical staircase. The room was spacious and had a common balcony, which houses the night bar, but we had no noise problems. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but...
Needed somewhere central and safe for a single female traveller on a tight budget. Wasn’t completely sure about this place but went for it and I’m glad I did. Great central location just off Avenida dos Aliados, walking distance to everything (5min walk to Trindade station where the direct metro to the airport goes from, 15min walk to Largo di Lapa where the tour buses all leave town for the Douro...
This hotel was a gem. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and we loved the vintage decor. Great location, too - just a block from the Aliados metro stop and about a 10 minute walk from Porto's historic area. Our rooms were comfortable. The bathrooms were surpisingly large, especially the showers. My room on the interior courtyard was very quiet, but other members of my group complained...

Close to restaurants, shopping mall, transportation, parks and charming buildings. Staff was friendly and very helpful
It was good, I'll be back soon.
Nice little hotel with confy beds and pillows, good internet and in a nice area of the city with cafés and restaurantes. The only complain is the noise of all the other rooms; i could here the next door guests having a shower 🙄
Great location, but the rooms are a bit dated, and it gets pretty cold in the winter as the AC can't go above 21 degrees Celsius.
It was very quiet, and I had a great rest. The breakfast was plentiful, and the staff were very enthusiastic. It's not far from the airport, which is very convenient, and getting to the beach and downtown attractions is also super easy.
Not a very nice hotel. The breakfast for 35 euros for 2 nights is a joke🙈wouldn’t stay again.

Cleaning deserves 20 stars, it was pristine!!! The hotel is in a perfect area for tourists but also as quiet and cozy as possible! The staff are very kind and helpful and we were impressed by how comfortable our stay there was.
Centrally located hotel, though not very close to the subway stations. The room was a bit small but acceptable. The bathroom was poorly furnished, no bidet but it had a shower hose, a tiny sink, little space for toothbrushes, toothpaste and other toiletries. The shower was large but only had a single glass panel covering half of the shower tray, causing flooding during showers. There were also no wall...
There was no kettle in the room, but they provided one at the front desk. The amenities were minimal, but the heating worked well. The breakfast menu was basic and simple, with bread, ham, cheese, and yogurt, but it was delicious.

The room was a bit sparsely cleaned. The TV was very old and small, which I didn't even turn on (I used my tablet, which was almost bigger). The breakfast was pretty sparse. The lady in charge of breakfast was hiding in the storage room with her phone and unreplenished things. The mattresses were springy and you'd be stuck all over the place. Overall, a hotel you could get by on at most. It's a 40...
Very average. Location is ok but not great, room was clean but staff very unwelcoming, no one smiled or said hello, even when checking in and out. Breakfast was ok, no juice, but a good selection of mainly bread products. Strange way to treat guests in a hotel, by making them feel like an inconvenience. Won’t be back.
I arrived earlier than check-in and actually just wanted to leave my suitcase there. But luckily I was allowed to check in 🥰 There were free maps at reception. I felt very comfortable. My girlfriend is staying the night after me on my recommendation:)
It is a slightly older property with worn furnishings and carpeting, but it is clean. The breakfast buffet is a bit sad compared to other hotels of the same price that I have stayed in on this tour of Portugal. The staff is polite and helpful.
A weekend stay to participate in a cycling event was my reason to stay at this hotel. A very late arrival meant a little fumble around to ignite the lights in my third floor room (the keyfob needs to be inserted of course!) and then sleep! Alas being located next to an electrical plant room meant it wasn't peaceful, fortunately I'd brought earplugs but really you shouldn't have to wear them in any...
Simple, clean, basic hotel. Worth it for the location. 3 star hotel. Ideal for staying for 1 night. The room is spacious. Small simple. No hot. Eggs etc. Price adjusted to offer €68. Need for some maintenance in bathrooms, humidity, hallway carpets, etc.

Ideal location, wonderful staff, very clean! What’s not to like?! A great location, parking available a few minute walk away from the hotel. €24 for 24hour; parking is an art in some of the carpark facilities in Portuguese cities- this was probably one of the easier ones if you’re happy to play bumper cars 😆 Hotel is central - close to main attractions, quieter streets and local transport. Central location Room was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The towel rack in the bathroom was lying on the floor so it was unusable. The staff was outstanding. They were very professional, courteous and quick to respond to our requests. The room was spotless and breakfast was delicious. I would absolutely recommend Castelo Santa Catarina to my friends and family.
Amazing!! No elevator in castle part but it was great!!The restaurant was the best dinner we had in all of Portugal.
Great staying in the castle. Beautifully tiled bathroom. Fancy fixtures including a bidet.
The room was humid , wished the ac was cold. But overall great room.
Beautiful unique property . A glimpse into the past. The pictures on the website are accurate. Very attentive, gracias staff. Great stay .
Staying at Castelo Santa Catarina was a charming experience, a classic castle full of character and beautiful details. However, the breakfast was average, and the Wi-Fi signal was weak even near the reception. Also, there are many stairs, so it’s not very accessible.

The room was anice surprise, bigger and nicer than expected. The staff and service were great, the breakfast was also nice. Location was great, within walkable distance from some of the nicest areas of Porto and with a bus station nearby.
The Porto Domus is in a quiet area but is fairly well located to most of Porto's tourist locations. Our room was comfortable. The bedroom area was small compensated by a large bathroom. Very good! There was just one small flaw: I rented a room for two people and there were only towels for one.
The hotel was spotless, and the staff was very friendly on the day of the power outage. The room was quite spacious, except there was barely enough room to walk between the footboard and the wall. Everything else was fantastic!
In general the hotel is very good. You have to sort out the good and the bad, the good thing is its location on a main street but out of the crowd, the breakfast is very rich and varied. The bad thing is that although it was clean there was humidity in the room and when you passed it you had to breathe normally.
Full and good breakfast. The rooms are not soundproofed at all.
The air conditioning did not work well, the person in charge did not give us a solution, we spent about two hours trying to maintain a pleasant temperature and at two in the morning we had to sleep somehow, with the temperature not so pleasant, the room was well organized and clean but with this temperature detail, the experience was ruined, the included breakfast was good.
It was in a good location close to the city centre with lots of historical sites. The space was a very big for 5 people and there were three separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The only downside is that it's a walk up the hill and that the walls are very thin so that you can hear other people in other rooms and the elevator very loudly.

The hostess was super nice. We were able to leave our luggage with her and walk around the city. When we came back, she had brought our luggage in the room which was very nice of her. The room was very spacious and clean and the place was central to everything we wanted to see. There was a Spar right across the street which was very convenient too.
Absolutely fantastic! Great walking proximity to waterfront and Ribera District, shops and amenities. Maria the hostess was fantastic. I highly recommend this for this price range.
Overall a great find in Porto! Very comfortable, practical amenities in the room, keyless entry, a strong AC unit that worked well in summer heat, and located on a quieter street that was still near much daytime/nighttime things.

Great place for plays, musicals, ballets and, concerts. Small venue, all seats are great and the acoustics are awesome.
Wonderful 20 year anniversary show by Os Azeitonas. Started just a bit after 21h and finished at about 00h10!!! The venue is a little old and shows its age in spots, but the acoustics and the crowd were all great! The staff were very helpful as well.
There is little space between seats which makes it uncomfortable especially during hot nights. It could do with a refurb. Only one bar opened for the show so we couldn't get a drink. At least some vending machines would be helpful. Needs some tlc as it looks tired with cracks on walls and ceiling. Besides that the Russell Howard was great.
We took our children to see the circus here. It was a very entertaining time with quality acrobatics. The clowns were entertaining, if a little drawn out. The seats were comfortable and you can see the action from anywhere.
Great venue and acoustics. First time visiting as a foreigner who didn't understand that there weren't seating allocations for the whole theatre - but it was good as we got to choose our vantage point and move around. Logistics getting in could be better managed, however.

Very good Hotel was good, breakfast also good very clean. Not far from the Metro station and not far from city centre.
Porto City Hotel was in good location, far enough away from the hugely busy Douro area (circa 30 minute walk) and also adjacent to a Metro Station for ease of travel in a very hilly city. Excellent hotel with spacious and clean rooms. It feels like a step back in time. Friendly staff (they even let us check in early). Strategic central location to reach everything on foot. Simple breakfast but with both sweet and savory options. Excellent value for money!!!
The hotel is very central, close to the metro, clean, and the courtesy and friendliness are top priority. The rooms, although a little dated, are spotless and spacious, and the breakfast is top-notch. Highly recommended.
The hotel was clean and the rooms were spacious, but the lighting in the rooms was poor, the bathroom was very old and outdated, and the breakfast was very basic and simple! It could be improved.
