Our stay at PortoBay Teatro was absolutely amazing. I thoroughly recommend anyone and everyone to stay here. Such a lovely hotel, fantastic staff, great location (close to everything) and gorgeous interior. The service we received was outstanding. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to many people and to return here again.

Excellent location in the city center, close to the metro and train station. The room is spacious, has everything you need, and the decor is stylish, both in the room itself and in the hallways and lobby. The bathroom has Ritual's toiletries, which was a nice touch. Accessible facilities are available (for example, in the bathroom). The staff is friendly. The breakfast buffet is delicious, but overall, standard.

The hotel has a great location, within walking distance of various attractions. It's a 4-minute walk to St. Benedict's Station, and Lello Bookstore and popular cafes are about a 10-minute walk away. The service was excellent; the housekeeping staff, knowing my luggage wasn't there, thoughtfully brought me disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, slippers, and even a bathrobe. Because our English is limited, the front desk staff were very patient in communicating with us. In the morning, a young man even helped us call a taxi and carried our luggage to the taxi stand. The hotel has a separate bathroom, shower, and bath area. However, we weren't used to the sliding glass doors and were hesitant to move them much at night because they made noise. Also, for some reason, we received two phone calls after using the large showerhead, saying someone had called the police. Quite strange.

Location is good as it is 15 minutes walk to almost all the key attractions. Bed and amenities are good. Cleaning of the floor and carpets need improvement. My wet socks turned black when I stepped on the floor and carpet. Food at restaurant is also good. However, service was a bit slow.

First of all, the staff are incredibly friendly and the breakfast is delicious. The room was a bit confusing because it was like a maze, but everything else was great! The proximity to downtown is also excellent, so I'm very satisfied. I also tried dinner, and the food was clean and delicious.

Ideal location, in the very center.
The hotel is beautiful, modern.
The breakfast is excellent, in a beautiful restaurant, everything is delicious, there is everything you need, lots of pastries and they pour sparkling wine.
The rooms are also beautiful, stylish, the renovation is a bit untidy, if you look closely at the details, but overall it is excellent.
We booked the "Gallery" room, it was not cozy. The air conditioning did not work in it and we were changed to the "Tribune" room. This room was very cozy, beautiful and spacious, for which many thanks!
They also gave us a coupon for 2 free glasses of wine in the bar.
The only negative: the price for the most basic room, it seems to me, is not justified. If you take it, then start with the superior rooms.
And also the glass sliding door to the toilet, very inconvenient, rattles loudly when closing

Good location, good breakfast and helpful staff especially Marco and Ana from the reception. Its a good choice for first timer in Porto. Food aplenty and walking distance to most attractions. This hotel should be the choice!

The Terylene sandwich was excellent. While the roasted pork was juicy and succulent, the toasted bread was one of, if not the best I've ever had.

First rate for Portuguese food. Dealt fantastically well with my many food intolerances. Meat was succulent, having been cooked very slowly, and portions were sizable. Dessert was done to perfection: not too sweet, not too heavy, and wonderfully fruity.
