The staff is so friendly , so clean , yummy , breakfast
We booked this hotel which is not close to the city centre to be able to have a pool to relax after a day visiting Porto
Nice hotel with a very nice pool area on rooftop. Room could be cleaner, we found a lot of hairs in one corner of the room in front of a mirror
The outdoor pool was overcrowded all the time and had very limited loungers that people took/reserved from 9am, so people even had to sit on the floor. With nowhere to put myself, I went to check the indoor pool
Uber was very affordable if you are in a group, if not, there is an easy bus service to reach the city. There are some options for an evening meal+ supermarket in the area but nothing extraordinary
Biggest moan/warning/suggestion for improvement would be: the lifts took for ever (15 floors all in all) lots of queues forming. The wet areas could be so much better

2) breakfast cook does not know how to make eggs royal, they however offer customised breakfast 3) no possibility to order drinks around the pool 4) There is a doorman, but he has never provided any service to me, notwithstanding that a dozen drivers picked me up at the entrance
However probably not worth 5 stars, but only 4. A few reasons/recommendations: 1) pool has rust stains everywhere and wood around the pool is old and sometimes even broken
Stayed at this hotel many times in 2024 and it has always been highly pleasant. The staff are very welcoming and lovely. The room was spacious, the bathroom was very clean, and the beds are very comfortable
Good service and location. Clean & comfortable
Good breakfast and juice especially fresh orange juice
Breakfast is a great spread and has plenty of options for different diets
However nothwithstanding the above, the breakfast is really good, reception staff is prompt and cleaning of rooms is done really good. The rooms are also nice and big

The hotel's surrounding environment is very good. The breakfast was so good and the rooms were quite big, neat and modern. The staffs were friendly and overall stay was perfect
I had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. The room was so comfortable.
Very good hotel and dining services. Especially the tye fine dining restaurant at top roof, with 270° city view.
Clean, beautiful view from roof top terrace on 19 floor.
Strongly recommend to all the business travelers
The shower is not working well. Water pressure is extremely low.
Floor lamp is not working
But, concierge staff is really helpful. Front desk staff are helpful too.
Excellent central location. Metro right in front of the hotel. Central location walkable to all major locations, plenty of restaurants around. Hotel is luxury and the room is great too! Would definitely come back again.
A modern and very well-located hotel in Porto, right next to the town hall. The room is spacious and well-appointed, and the breakfast is very good with a wide selection of sweet and savory options
The room was clean and tidy, and the location was great, within walking distance of the train station. However, there were a lot of tour groups, so the lobby was a bit noisy.
The hotel’s location was also very convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. Breakfast was fresh and varied, offering something for everyone
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it easy to relax after a long day. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere and the beautiful view
We were lucky enough to be able to view the Christmas lights switch on and fireworks that were positioned just outside the hotel on the first night
The room was fantastic, with a window facing the square and a small balcony right outside – perfect for enjoying the view and having coffee! The hotel's location is also excellent, very close to all the attractions
The location is convenient, close to many attractions. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the amenities were all complete. The restaurant downstairs offers discounted meals for guests
The service was great; you can tell the front desk you want a room facing the square when you check in, as other rooms might not have such a good view
Outside the hotel is a plaza with a market. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family
Great location. Easy access most attractions point. Staff Friendly and helpful
Also, most drivers didn't know how to park in front of the hotel, and the hotel didn't provide clear instructions. If you have a lot of luggage and it's raining, it's really terrible. The hotel's location is excellent

Breakfast was buffet-style, offering a wide variety of dishes, though the selection remained largely the same day after day. The dining area and the hotel's overall ambiance were stylish and comfortable
The location was good and the facilities were good. It was right in front of Heroismo station, so it was only one stop from Campanha station and it was good for coming from Lisbon
The room was excellent and very spacious. However, I had to go down to reception to get a toothbrush. The location is fantastic, with the metro station right around the corner
The room was clean, tidy, and spacious, with this particular room type also featuring a small balcony. The bathroom facilities were well-appointed and impeccably clean
The staff wasn't very friendly, but maybe that's just how Porto is, I didn't feel friendly in Lisbon either
It's a 15-minute walk to the bus station and 20 minutes to the city center. There's a bar right opposite the hotel, which was a nice bonus
A good 4* hotel in the middle of city on the main Santa Catarina road which is the main walking street of the city. Cafe Majestic is only a five minute walk from this hotel
Excellent location as it has easy access to eateries, metro stations and attractions. Room is spacious and well lit, with toiletries and coffee tea making facilities. Front desk are all helpful and friendly
Great location with everything nearby. Hotel staff were helpful and showed us alternative (cheaper at EUR12 vs 25 at the hotel) parking nearby besides at the hotel
Room air conditioning was suspect and the room a bit stuffy. They changed my room but the other room was the same so guessing it’s a building wide thing
Good location, good service, good amenities. Perfect to stay in downtown.

We were given a nice, clean room on an upper floor with a pretty view. The bathroom was on the right through a sliding door when you entered the room. It was spacious with a shower and a bathtub
The room has complete sanitary facilities, the hotel buffet is good, the daily egg tarts are delicious, there are three types of bottled wine to choose from, the drinks and various coffees taste great ☕️
Good breakfast! The roasted tomatoes were superb and it should be a dish available every morning at the buffet
Well located in the Porto area
The location is near the University of Porto, so it is far from tourist attractions, but it is a 4-star hotel, so many details are excellent. It was the best meal I had when I stayed there 5 years ago
Well located hotel. With excellent service from the staff.

We could't have been happier with the central location, the historic charm and the wonderful service. Our room had a great view over the city and was modern and unique
Service was excellent at check in, breakfast and throughout our stay. We were always warmly greeted by the doorman upon our return to the hotel
Breakfast was served in a beautifully decorated room with lovely chandeliers and a wide range of fresh breakfast delights
We booked through Amex Plat and were able to enjoy a wonderful dinner at the onsite restuarant Scarlett with our credit
I'd highly recommend this hotel to those looking for a unique, convenient and upscale choice in lovely Porto
The best is about to get even better! Cannot wait for the unveiling of this soon-to-be renovated jewel...the hotel that made me fall in love with Porto...

Rooms were spotless, beds were comfortable. Breakfasts were ample and absolutely wonderful. Bar and dining room were high quality. All the public spaces in the Palacio were beautiful and truly stand out
We did order a late afternoon meal at the bar area because the restaurant didn’t open til 7:30. we ordered hamburger with fries but it came with chips and we ordered the salad with out chicken
The property is stunning the staff are very accommodating. Close enough to the old town by taxi that makes this a great place to relax and still be able to get into town and enjoy the sites.
Only area of minor discontent was darkness of the room and being on the first floor proximity to outside (literally 1 foot away,) so had to keep curtains drawn for any semblance of privacy
Perfect stay in Porto
Amazing views. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They helped us design a perfect day of sightseeing in Porto
Treat yourself to a palace stay!!
Wow!!! This old Palace turned hotel is amazing!!! The service was above first class in all areas. Breakfast was huge and delicious
My husband and I wanted to change the rest of our trip just to stay here longer. The staff is amazing, they bring service to whole new level. We did visit the hotel bar and again, great service
Everything has been thought out for the perfect evening experience: the passage in the kitchen, the 14-course menu to get to know Portuguese gastronomy, the accompanying booklet
The rooms were very clean. The staff was amazing. No issues with the wifi.
The facilities and environment are very clean. The swimming pool and sauna are great
Great location, friendly staff, beautiful rooms, very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
Good location away from the tourist crowds and very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely indoor pool and SPA.

Exceptionally clean , stayed in the jacuzzi suite - worth every penny. Set in a neighbourhood opposite a school but yet , we had a very peaceful stay ! Will not hesitate to rebook if visiting Porto in the future
Luxury hotel, nice rooms. Clean. Food service
Bathroom with bath and shower. Big bed. Inside swimming pool. A bit out of the centre.Anyhow nice place.
Our family of 8 stayed in this hotel. It was cheap, clean and hygienic, which exceeded our expectations. It was very cost-effective. If we go to Porto, we will choose here again.
The room is reasonably big. Hotel is 15-mins drive away from Porto old town area where you can find most of the tourist spots. No daily bottle water refills though.
In the prime residential district of Porto, the Boavista avenue. Nice modern design, good prices.
Also nice for business meetings and informal coffees.
The accommodation was beautiful, breakfast was buffet and it offered varieties of meals. I recommend this hospitable abode and I will come back again.

Nice hotel with perfect location and hospitality staffs. We experienced large scale electric power blackout in Spain & Portugal, including Porto, the 2nd day when we stayed
Hotel provided necessary support for staying guest, including cold food water services and emergency Mobile electric power charge, so that no one worried about it until the power was resumed after 10 hours
This hotel offers a truly exceptional river view. Even if it costs more, choose a room with a view of the Ruis Pont-de-France, and you won't regret it
Is a very good option in Porto river side view gonna miss Porto there and a convenient location 10 mins walk to the time out market
The rooms are very clean and luxurious, well-equipped, and the staff are very friendly
Will definitely choose this hotel in next visiting Porto
They gave us a up grade room on the 7th floor that was just amazing this hotel is so relaxing and everything you need is in the room one of the best city hotels we have stayed in
The location is close to the attractions. The front desk was very helpful in planning the itinerary. The room was clean and comfortable. There are good cafes near the hotel. The room faced the inner garden
Service everywhere - helpful, friendly, efficient, always there for us and willing to make our stay comfortable. SPA - the pool is rather a jacuzzi with very warm water, good deep muscle massage
Fantastic central location - couldn't have asked for better. The room was quiet and comfortable. The staff were brilliant - friendly faces and efficient with everything we asked for
Very high quality stay, attentive and discreet staff.
Quiet and well located, clean, nice swimming pool and spa
Exceptional breakfast!
What really makes this place special though is the building itself. It's stunning with gorgeous architectural details. The interior design is elegant without being stuffy

A grand hotel with elegance, exceptional staff, great food and wine, and superbly located. The Vila Foz Restaurante tasting menu was exquisite, with the service from Emmie and Pedro truly exceptional.
The room was beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. The bar could make any drink. There is also a Michelin star restaurant and the event we attended was spectacular!
5 star hotel and excellent service. Starting from the warm welcome from Marya to the staff of Vila Foz restaurant. The hotel was beaitiful among other things.
Amazing experience .. . location, facilities, staff .. all close to perfection.. next time
In Porto , no doubt , I will stay there ..
Beautiful property, and very gracious and helpful staff. Quiet oceanfront location, and an easy 12 minute from central Porto.
Superb
We had a wonderful stay
Staff very helpful, location good next to the sea and easy to get into the city . Good modern facilities
Superb breakfast
Needs more sun umbrellas around the garden and on some balconies

The rooms were luxurious area was perfect, close to everything. The staff were amazing. There was a pool and maybe a hot tub, didn’t use it. The stay was perfect
The hotel has a pool, outdoor and indoor, and a small room with some gym equipment (but no room to spread of a gym mat out)
This hotel was recommended by a friend and I would happily stay again, or in their other locations. The staff were friendly; the hotel was neat and clean. The rooms spacious enough, so you did not feel cramped in any way
Great room. I arrived at 11am but they were able to accommodate me and check me in right away with no extra charge. Very friendly staff especially the cute guy who escorted me to my room. Location was very good.
There was some construction happening on the side street next to the hotel but it didn't bother us; the work stopped in the early evening
Great place to stay in porto! Friendly and service minded staff, great location, super clean rooms, lovely bed. A top choice!
The location is very centralised, making it extremely convenient to walk to the nearby attractions. We got upgraded to a room with a balcony which was lovely, and everything else about the room was just about perfect too
The house is very well furnished, the bed and linens are very comfortable, and the bathroom is a generous size. The garden and pool are a wonderful oasis from the city right outside the front door
Hotel is located at the Heart of Porto and accessible to a lot of attractions. The rooms has a terrace that offer a nice time to sit down,
Drink some wine and reflect the day’s activities! Plus plus
Fantastic stay at this friendly hotel. Good variety of breakfast food - nice small portions of cooked, fresh fruit and baked items. Comfy bed in clean room. And very good location. We will be back
Super well upkept, maybe cos it’s relatively new too but the bathroom was very clean with zero mold spots. Water pressure was strong while the wifi and aircon / heater worked well
The only con was that the basin seemed a little choked with the water going down pretty slowly, but it wasn’t a major issue for us

Very nice stay overall. Small initial issue with outside noise with restaurant just below room on first floor but quickly and smoothly solved by front office efficient and friendly Mr Diogo Fonseca. Thank you.
A little out of the centre but clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We stayed a night before we were booked in for the first night of an organised cycling trip
Staff had moved our bags to the new room while we were out sightseeing. Fantastic food hall just through a door from the hotel with huge choice of food and beer!
The location was convenient and the room was clean
The room itself was nicer than the photos: spacious, very clean, with a safe box, closet, and separate bathroom and toilet. Breakfast was plentiful with many varieties, though it was the same selection every day
If the price is good compared to the ones in the center, then it could be a good choose as taxis to the center cost about €5 one way. Otherwise, I’d probably choose somewhere in the more central area next time
The hotel is located not far from the city center. Everything is within walking distance. The facilities are new and clean. I chose a place with a parking lot because I was using a rental car
Morden room and clean setup, nice equipments with Nespresso machines, tea, coffee. The front desk is very nice. Location is quiet , shortly recommended.
Excellent hotel! First off, the location is fantastic – right in the Old Town, but on a quiet street, so it's both convenient and peaceful
It was close to downtown Porto and the Douro River, clean, and the rooms were spacious, so I enjoyed it.
The room is clean. Bed is comfortable. Location is good and close to most attractions.
The hotel itself is relatively new, clean, and tidy, and the service was comfortable

Our stay at PortoBay Teatro was absolutely amazing. I thoroughly recommend anyone and everyone to stay here. Such a lovely hotel, fantastic staff, great location (close to everything) and gorgeous interior
Excellent location in the city center, close to the metro and train station. The room is spacious, has everything you need, and the decor is stylish, both in the room itself and in the hallways and lobby
Because our English is limited, the front desk staff were very patient in communicating with us. In the morning, a young man even helped us call a taxi and carried our luggage to the taxi stand
The bathroom has Ritual's toiletries, which was a nice touch. Accessible facilities are available (for example, in the bathroom). The breakfast buffet is delicious, but overall, standard
The hotel has a separate bathroom, shower, and bath area. However, we weren't used to the sliding glass doors and were hesitant to move them much at night because they made noise
The service was excellent; the housekeeping staff, knowing my luggage wasn't there, thoughtfully brought me disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, slippers, and even a bathrobe
