very good for a two stars hotel It seems to be a traditional hotel that has preserved its beautiful history. You can feel it as soon as you enter it and go up in the elevator., Lina at the reception was so nice and friendly and the guy who works pm shift also muy amable,the room clean and has a beautiful view to the center of Oporto , perfect location close to tho the bus station and the metro.

Strange that in a downtown hotel, not all receptionists speak at least some English in a touristy city like Porto. Everybody was nice, but the English part made things more difficult. Slightly overpriced hotel for the quality of the rooms. The view is nice, but also a bit noisy because of the location. It is very close to metro, that's great about it.

Nice welcoming staff. The hotel is a bit old but still comfortable and clean. The breakfast is simple, but adequate for the price. The only con with the hotel is the isolation, specially from the outside, as you can sometimes ear some noise on the crowded Avenida dos Aliados. On the other side, the location is a huge plus. It was a nice experience.

When we arrived the welcoming was very disappointing. The lady on the reception didn’t even say hello because of how angry she was that we arrived earlier and wanted to leave our bags. Afterwards she become way nicer and even tried to have a conversation. But the first impression ruined our mood. On the other hand the room and the hotel was clean with clean towels and sheets and nice view. If you are on a budget and don’t mind rude staff then this hotel is highly recommended.

The Terylene sandwich was excellent. While the roasted pork was juicy and succulent, the toasted bread was one of, if not the best I've ever had.

First rate for Portuguese food. Dealt fantastically well with my many food intolerances. Meat was succulent, having been cooked very slowly, and portions were sizable. Dessert was done to perfection: not too sweet, not too heavy, and wonderfully fruity.
