5 star hotels in Dublin

Our short break was made special by the highly trained and delightful staff. They really are a great asset to an outstanding hotel.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights in total. Absolutely loved it. From service to food and quality of the hotel it was truly a five star experience.

We stayed for two nights at the Shelbourne to attend a family wedding. A much more expensive and extravagant stay than we would usually go for, but worth every penny. The staff were helpful and accommodating, and given that the wedding was at the hotel the entire weekend was made much more convenient for us by staying here.

very good. all the experience is worth it. every details is comply with anticipate.

The Shelbourne was everything we expected it to be - friendly, grand and warm in a perfect location. Great facilities, good food and super cocktails!

Room cleanliness, staff professionalism, amenities good.

Great location and very accommodating staff. Rooms are spacious (for European standards) and the hotel lobby/lounge is a wonderful traditional setting. Had one small hiccup with the gym being closed for renovation, but the Westbury team was more than responsive in trying to make it right.

5-star experience Short (one night) but fantastic stay in Dublin. Everything at the hotel is top notch - especially The Sidecar Bar - amazing cocktails.

Lovely room. Beautiful vibes. The scent of the lobby was welcoming every time we entered the hotel.

Luxurious Stay in the Heart of Dublin A truly luxurious stay with exceptional service from start to finish. The Wilde Restaurant was a highlight—our meal was absolutely delicious, both refined and full of flavor. The hotel’s location is excellent, just steps from Grafton Street shopping and Trinity College, making it ideal for exploring Dublin. Highly recommend for anyone seeking comfort, elegance...

Lot of noise from refurbishment of one of the floors This was not mentioned on the website. The building noise was present during the day but included an 8.15 start on Saturday morning.

Construction Construction happening in the room next door kept us awake after a 13 flight whilst trying to nap.

Beautiful hotel very comfortable and great location.

Me and my friend had a lovely stay at the College Green Hotel in Dublin. The location is excellent, right in the city center and within easy walking distance of many attractions, shops, and restaurants. The breakfast was very good with a nice selection, and it was a great way to start the day. What really stood out was the staff — everyone was extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made...

The room facilities were quite good, but the view wasn't great. The breakfast was very plentiful.

Perfect location, the heart of Dublin is at your doorstep!  Very clean, modern hotel.

Convenient, convenient and clean

Very nice room and super comfortable bed. There is no parking available and valet was expensive. It was a last minute booking and it was very very expensive.

Had the most amazing spa break with the girls last weekend at the Marker Hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything just felt so special. Being welcomed with a glass of champagne was such a lovely touch and instantly set the tone for a relaxing and luxurious stay. Our room was fabulous, so spacious, beautifully designed, luxurious beds, huge bathroom and lots of thoughtful little touches including...

I stayed last weekend with my partner, and it was exactly what we were looking for. The hotel is beautiful and the whole team is incredibly kind, making you feel right at home. There’s such a calming atmosphere everywhere, we spent time in the pool and sauna area, and I couldn’t have left feeling more relaxed. The food was also amazing The Forbes Street restaurant is on another level, highly recommended...

I had an absolutely wonderful stay last weekend at Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were genuinely kind, attentive, and thoughtful, making my stay feel truly special. We also had dinner at Forbes Street by Gareth Mullins, and were incredibly impressed by both the quality of the food and the impeccable service. Every detail was carefully considered, and the wine...

We had a really enjoyable evening at the hotel bar. The cocktails were excellent and very well prepared. Görkem was friendly, attentive, and gave us great recommendations on what to drink. The atmosphere was comfortable and the service was quick. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy some great cocktails and have a nice time. We would love to come back again!

We had an absolutely brilliant stay at Anantara the marker Dublin from start to finish. The place itself is stunning, and the front-of-house staff were fantastic — welcoming, friendly, and always on hand to help with anything we needed. A special mention has to go to Derek, the manager, and also Sam who were exceptional. They made our stay so straightforward and genuinely went above and beyond to...

The room is large and the colors are beautiful. The staff is very professional, warm and polite. Every night, snacks, fruits and other small gifts are given. Breakfast is a la carte + buffet, with steak! We attended the New Year's dinner in the hotel restaurant, there was a live band performance, and the food was also very good!

Our favourite place to stay in Dublin. Lovely rooms, great breakfast and convenient location.

The staff is exceptional. They went above and beyond to accommodate our every need. The restaurant/bar has amazing food and drink. I have always enjoyed this hotel.

The hotel felt a bit rundown. The noise traveled extensively between rooms. You could constantly hear doors slamming from guests and cleaning crew. There was no where in the lobby to sit and lounge unless you were buying food or a beverage. At the end of the night while trying to get warm by the fireplace and no one else there, we were asked if we were hotel guest and also asked to go back to our room...

Staff is incredibly kind and accommodating. Rooms are beautiful. The food and drinks are spectacular. I can't recommend this hotel enough. Thank you, Fitzwilliam!

Fantastic hotel at the heart of Dublin City centre. Perfect if you are planning on staying central and not moving around much.

We had a very pleasant stay. Great service, friendly personnel and a nice and clean room. Will stay here again.

Excellent hotel, very friendly staff, from the reception, bar and restaurant staff and also the housekeeper.

After I  had made my booking I realised I didn’t have breakfast included as was suggested on my booking information I contacted the Conrad hotel and was told if I added breakfast for two  on then it would be €25 each if I left it until I booked in to add breakfast it would cost €30 each so I obviously booked it for €25 each but when I finally booked in to the hotel I met  a very condescending receptionist...

I was left stranded at the airport late at night by Ryanair. Conrad was the only room I could book but when I arrived they were so welcoming and charming I felt very cared for. Thank you beautiful hotel!

This time I booked it for my friend, who also stayed here when he went to Dublin last year. The breakfast was very rich and the ingredients were super fresh. The hotel used Beyond brand toiletries, which was great 👍

The room is big and the location is good.

The staff were amazing - couldn’t be more helpful and sincere

Loved, loved , loved this hotel!!! It was absolutely wonderful on every single level. Superb service, the room was plush and cozy. The bedding lux and crisp. Drawing room with the raging fire -perfection. It also is perfectly located! Love!

Incredible service, beautiful rooms and lobby. Incredible restaurant.

Peace of Mind I absolutely enjoyed my stay at The Merrion. Thank you for having us. We were treated with care and the staff were very attentive to our needs. Especially, Michael (Mihhael), he really went beyond with his service. Thank you for being so attentive and caring about the little details.

A-1 five star hotel. Not like the ones that call themselves five star but really are not.

Lovely hotel and great staff with the exception of the Garden Room for dining where the service was super slow. Pool was beautiful and gym was simple and clean. Food was very fresh and well managed for allergies.

The location is excellent, with all the famous attractions within walking distance. The room is spacious, although the bathroom has a fairly basic design

very convenient, close to the very centre of Dublin. A lot of pubs and shopping mall around also.

Good hotel, but don’t have garage

great location and beautiful suite, we even had our own Christmas tree in the room  :-)

Good service good staff n good location

Good service good staff n good location

Very nice, clean, modern, compact, hotel, in the centre of Ballsbridge. Lovely terrace and breakfast area, bedrooms big enough, not massive, same with bathrooms, but excellent choice for city centre. Service good.

I visited with my friend for a casual meal and drink last Thursday. My friend ordered a Venison Stew which, it transpired later, was unavailable. The manager was very apologetic about the error and insisted that they would like to give us some free drinks to apologise. I declined as I felt the apology was sufficient and I did not need them to cover the cost of free drinks, the waiter (manager?) insisted...

Loved the hotel. Great rooms with very fast complimentary personal wi fi. Huge, comfortable beds. Awesome bathrooms. Very quiet. Convenient location. Highly recommended if you are a day or three in Dublin.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had dinner for 1 night. The room was stunning, however the TV flickered on and off (although settled down after about 20 minutes) and we had to have the battery changed on the safe (which was done very quickly), as the safe did not initially work. The only other negative was that the shower's side heads (as opposed to the one in the ceiling) did not work very well...

Charming hotel. Comfortable rooms and beds. Good bar, range of cocktails available. Welcoming staff.

Had Christmas dinner here. Wasn’t impressed by the evening. Quality of service was less than expected for a boutique hotel. I think the Decor is nice and definitely a place I’d still go for a few drinks
