Public areas of hotel are great, excellent staff and good breakfast, let down by noise from adjoining rooms and constant door banging at night. Food in the bar could also have been a lot better. Aircon was a bit hit and miss and the window catch was either locked or broken, so unable to get fresh air into the room

Hotel and room very clean and tidy. No residents bar after 11pm, although the staff very friendly and atmosphere was nice. Kept having issues with the car parking passes even though we validated on every exit when going out for the day. Nice stay

We were here for business and stayed on a couple extra days. Location is about 30 minutes walking to Temple Bar area. Staff greeted us and we're helpful with recommendations. Bar and banquet room were nice. The rooms weren't horrible, but some extra attention would be good. Mold in the shower and molding. Outlet on the desk did not work. There is a nice neighborhood with restaurants close by.

I stayed at the Clayton Hotel Burlington Road and found it comfortable but not perfect. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is convenient — close enough to walk to the city centre but still quiet at night. However, the room felt a bit warm, and there was no way to open the window for fresh air. Perfect location - everything within walking distance and the air coach from Derry Londonderry dropped us off right in front of the Gresham.

We got the last availability so perhaps our downstair room wasn't the best but it has well renovated bathroom and overall the hotel is very well maintained and clean. Awesome room service. I wish there was a little fridge included. The bed cover was very hot and no thin linen available (just the big bed cover). No facecloth but I guess it's typical in Ireland? Coffee corner not always open and no coffee...

This hotel was a real pleasure to stay in during this trip. It seems to be a renovated old building. It's right next to the British Embassy in Ireland. The room was nicely decorated, the furniture was exquisite, and the bed was very comfortable. The bus stop is right outside, making it convenient for getting around. There's also an air coach station, making it easy to get to and from the airport.

The hotel is like a historical site with a beautiful appearance. The rooms are also European-style. It doesn't feel hot even without air conditioning. The hotel is very responsible, no deposit is required, and they will send a reminder email before check-in, and confirm it again and again, which is very guaranteed!

The meals served in the restaurant are terrible. Something akin to hospital food but much more expensive. I would guess that the food is prepared off site and reheated in the hotel. Although mine was cold. Breakfast was good.

We booked into a double double room but due to some indusclosed issue at check jn we were given a double with a single and a day bed. My kids did not settle well with this set up unfortunately.

Didnt go for breakfast or the dinner offer that came online €80 for 4 because despite 2 phonecalls and at check in no one could tell me if 1adult and three 16year old kids (my daughter and 2 friends) could avail of offer. I called morning of my arrival to add another room and SEAN answered. Sean was a pleasure to speak with and very accommodating. 5* for Sean. Room was lovely only thing was toilet was dirty down the side.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights in total. Absolutely loved it. From service to food and quality of the hotel it was truly a five star experience.

We stayed for two nights at the Shelbourne to attend a family wedding. A much more expensive and extravagant stay than we would usually go for, but worth every penny. The staff were helpful and accommodating, and given that the wedding was at the hotel the entire weekend was made much more convenient for us by staying here.

Room was far too hot and the place smelled a bit weird at points, the elevator to use you need a key card and over 2 days I had to go to reception 3 times to have this fixed. Ate from north which is the connecting restaurant and the chicken wings left me feeling not the best

Room was very cold, heating system was not working. We were given small portable heater but it did not help. Furniture was old/outdated.

Very good in city location with lots of different restaurants nearby . The hotel even checked us in an hour before checkin time, and offer a cheaper price to upgrade to B&B. The only defects is the bathroom extractor is not working and TV is a bit old fashioned and cannot watch YouTube etc.

Excellent stay for 1 night. Quick check in after safely parking our car in hotel carpark. Bedroom was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best we've had....delicious. Can't wait to return.

A lovely hotel suitable for Trinity College Dublin tour. Great value on a Sunday night. Air con in the room meant that we could chill the room as the room was really warm. Would stay here again.

Staff were friendly and efficient. We came as a big group and they let us check in earlier once the rooms were available.  The room was clean with hot shower, and the location was perfect.

Great location for concerts. Check in a bit slow and we asked a question about voucher for Kildare village and they didn’t know anything about it and said would ring us but no call came. On check out though girl at reception knew about it and gave me voucher. Food was nice but not a lot of choice on menu.

The location is excellent with convenient transportation. Rooms are well-laid out, the environment is clean and tidy, and the facilities are well-equipped. The service was warm and attentive. We had a very late check-in; our room wasn't ready even around 2 o'clock, and we had to wait outside for a while. The room was quite small, and there was construction happening right outside. Breakfast was decent, with a good variety of options. Overall, everything else was just average, nothing particularly stood out.

The location boasts excellent transport links. An escalator right outside leads to the Luas stop, offering convenient access to all key attractions in the city center. I was very grateful that they prepared a packed breakfast for me when I had an early start for a group tour. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Fantastic hotel in an amazing location. All the staff were amazing - especially Alex on reception- nothing was too much trouble. Food was fantastic too and first class service throughout our  stay. Rooms are very comfortable and slept really well.

everything was great, as expected with Hyatt standards.  the breakfast is not the best we had due to quite limited choice, but in general restaurant is very good. 

Very friendly staff, check in process was smooth and quick. Room was clean, well furnished and had all the things I need. Only caveat was the shower water pressure was quite weak, but perhaps it was just my room.

Great location and very accommodating staff. Rooms are spacious (for European standards) and the hotel lobby/lounge is a wonderful traditional setting. Had one small hiccup with the gym being closed for renovation, but the Westbury team was more than responsive in trying to make it right.

Lot of noise from refurbishment of one of the floors This was not mentioned on the website. The building noise was present during the day but included an 8.15 start on Saturday morning.

Construction Construction happening in the room next door kept us awake after a 13 flight whilst trying to nap.

Due to the distance I had to travel, I asked if they could store my suitcases the day before my stay. The woman at the reception was very cheerful and friendly, and called a Japanese staff member for me, which I am grateful for. Breakfast was buffet style and there was a wide variety to choose from. It was also great that the main station was very close by.

Hotel general areas were lovely, clean and modern. We have a lounge on our floor which was perfect for two families to hang out. Only issue we had was the pillows in the room were feathers and my wife is asthmatic and they only had two alternatives as the hotel was fully booked. Other than that it was a lovely stay and lovely hotel.

Non-smokers beware… Hotel was quite nice but the smell of cigarette smoke was horrible in our room. It was coming through our vent and the hallways were also full of smoke…we were in a smoke-free room/floor but obviously didn’t matter. We mentioned it to the front desk but they didn’t seem to offer any solution(s).

All of the front desk staff were super friendly and helpful and the location is very good— right in the heart of Dublin and close to all of the entertainment + city center stuffs. The room + bed were clean and made though the bathroom and subsequent layout was a little old and odd.

Location is heart of Dublin. Only 1 demerits is very noisy and you can't sleep if you want to sleep durning weekend time.
