Where to stay with pets in Dublin

The location is convenient — close enough to walk to the city centre but still quiet at night. However, the room felt a bit warm, and there was no way to open the window for fresh air

Aircon was a bit hit and miss and the window catch was either locked or broken, so unable to get fresh air into the room

However, I must highlight the work and patience of the gentleman who checked us in, whose name I cannot remember, and of course, the excellent and professional service provided by Paul, who was fantastic and treated us wonderfully, resolving all the problems that came up during our stay

I loved the hotel - beautiful, clean, comfortable, and quiet. I would like to highlight the kindness and helpfulness of the reception staff, especially a young woman who assisted me in Spanish and was very helpful

Our experience was good in general. We had a few issues with the cleanliness of the rooms, and also with the receptionists (the ladies) on the night we arrived at the hotel

I would also like to give a special mention to the restaurant staff, both at breakfast and at the bar, who were all very helpful

I recently stayed at the Hotel Riu Plaza The Gresham Dublin and found its location on O'Connell Street to be exceptionally convenient for exploring Dublin's main attractions

Great location in Dublin city centre. Beautiful lobby and public areas. Nice food in the bar and a good selection for breakfast. I always stay here when in Dublin.

While the hotel's central location is a significant advantage, improvements in breakfast offerings and lobby comfort would enhance the overall guest experience

Perfect location - everything within walking distance and the air coach from Derry Londonderry dropped us off right in front of the Gresham.

Good location. Breakfast was excellent. Room was small but comfortable. Excellent value given its central location.

Located in the center of walking street, airport shuttle buses are in front of the hotel.

The hotel is like a historical site with a beautiful appearance. The rooms are also European-style. It doesn't feel hot even without air conditioning. The lobby public area is also spacious and beautiful

The bathroom has a shower curtain rod that is very suitable for hanging cool clothes. Although the hotel is not in the city center, the transportation is also very convenient

The hotel is very responsible, no deposit is required, and they will send a reminder email before check-in, and confirm it again and again, which is very guaranteed!

The room was nicely decorated, the furniture was exquisite, and the bed was very comfortable. The bus stop is right outside, making it convenient for getting around

This hotel was a real pleasure to stay in during this trip. It seems to be a renovated old building. It's right next to the British Embassy in Ireland

It had recently had some refurbishment and the reception and breakfast area were super nice! Rooms have been great on both my stays

Didnt go for breakfast or the dinner offer that came online €80 for 4 because despite 2 phonecalls and at check in no one could tell me if 1adult and three 16year old kids (my daughter and 2 friends) could avail of offer

We had just arrived were going to a match and wanted to eat early and relax before going. We went elsewhere to eat but very hard to get a dinner dish at that time by the looks of things

Also for breakfast couldnt tell me if 16 year olds are kids or adults

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights in total. Absolutely loved it. From service to food and quality of the hotel it was truly a five star experience.

A wonderful hotel and location. Super comfortable beds and well presented rooms. Good bars, good residents lounge and garden. Wonderful conference rooms and private meeting and dining rooms on the first floor

The Shelbourne was everything we expected it to be - friendly, grand and warm in a perfect location. Great facilities, good food and super cocktails!

Our suite was beautiful, great location, staff are very friendly

The music was brilliant and service great too. There was a mix up with our food order which the manager was most apologetic about and took off the bill very graciously

The rooms and services are good, as is the restaurant. The sound insulation is not very good, the floor will make noise when stepped on, which will affect your sleep.

Very good location to get in from the airport and for the convention center that I was visiting for work. I enjoyed the hotel, which had good facilities, helpful staff and was great value compared to others we looked at.

Hotel is in a great location for arrivals from Connolly station as it’s literally across the road. Everything is within walking distance. The hotel was very clean and we had a very spacious room

Knowing The Address from Dubai, I knew I could expect quality. Located on a main road across Connolly station, the train noises were only noticeable on the outside

Clean tidy, great room’s spacious digital lighting takes a bit of sussing for a dunce like me but not a major issue. Would recommend and stay again

Great location and great price. Let down by the lack of air con in room - we arrived to find air con not working and an oil heater being used to heat the room. Additionally towels were very small for an adult.

Really nice accomodation and a lot of restaurants nearby. There are many bust stops located nearvy for easy access to the city centre.

The room is spacious and clean, the lobby service is comprehensive, and there is free parking. The location is next to the canal, and it is easy to get in and out. It is recommended!

Excellent stay for 1 night. Quick check in after safely parking our car in hotel carpark. Bedroom was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best we've had....delicious. Can't wait to return.

Very nice hotel, very clean, spacious room. Unfortunately, during our stay the tram line was under construction, which complicated our travel to the city center.

Location is great as it’s in the heart of the city, although being situated right at the top of the Liffy there will be some walking to get to the fun spots

Check in a bit slow and we asked a question about voucher for Kildare village and they didn’t know anything about it and said would ring us but no call came

Very new hotel and there was a garden at the 3rd floor roof. Rooms are really big. Very close to the port that we are heading to.

On check out though girl at reception knew about it and gave me voucher. Food was nice but not a lot of choice on menu

Luxurious Stay in the Heart of Dublin A truly luxurious stay with exceptional service from start to finish. The Wilde Restaurant was a highlight—our meal was absolutely delicious, both refined and full of flavor

Zhang Li's service attitude is very good. The hotel has a shuttle bus to and from Disneyland and Pudong Airport, which is very convenient. There are many kinds of breakfast, very satisfied

Lot of noise from refurbishment of one of the floors This was not mentioned on the website. The building noise was present during the day but included an 8.15 start on Saturday morning.

Not only is this hotel ideally located for the Express Dublin, but it also stands out for other reasons. The staff are not only polite and professional, but they have a personality and are a pleasure to talk to

Fantastic hotel in an amazing location. All the staff were amazing - especially Alex on reception- nothing was too much trouble. Food was fantastic too and first class service throughout our  stay

Very friendly staff, check in process was smooth and quick. Room was clean, well furnished and had all the things I need. Only caveat was the shower water pressure was quite weak, but perhaps it was just my room.

everything was great, as expected with Hyatt standards.  the breakfast is not the best we had due to quite limited choice, but in general restaurant is very good. 

Excellent! It's very close to Dublin's famous tourist attractions, just a few minutes' walk. The staff are lovely, it's clean, and feels very safe.

The Ashling Hotel Dublin is perfectly located. It is a 2 minute walk to Huston Station and there are two LUAS stops just as close on either side of the hotel

After a long day of work, we weren't looking for a place to eat, so we thought we'd take a chance, and it was worth it! So much so that it's already one of our dinner plans for next time

I would’ve expected slightly more.   Other than that, the breakfast was very good and the staff were lovely

Me and my friend had a lovely stay at the College Green Hotel in Dublin. The location is excellent, right in the city center and within easy walking distance of many attractions, shops, and restaurants

The hotel was very clean and quiet, so we slept well, and I really liked the cute, stylish decor, which gave the place a cozy and charming atmosphere

The room facilities were quite good, but the view wasn't great. The breakfast was very plentiful.

After I  had made my booking I realised I didn’t have breakfast included as was suggested on my booking information I contacted the Conrad hotel and was told if I added breakfast for two  on then it would be €25 each if I left it until I booked in to add breakfast it would cost €30 each so I obviously booked it for €25 each but when I finally booked in to the hotel I met  a very condescending receptionist...

This time I booked it for my friend, who also stayed here when he went to Dublin last year. The breakfast was very rich and the ingredients were super fresh. The hotel used Beyond brand toiletries, which was great 👍

Mislaid my jacket and Eamonn at Reception was very helpful in trying to locate it without success

The location is ideal - close to the city centre, yet calm and relaxing

We had only one lift working for the first day or so and the call buttons on the upper floors for the lifts weren't working for a couple of days either which was a pain when you're on the 7th floor! It was either a case of walking down or calling reception and they'll send the lift up to your floor

The hotel is modern, clean, and very well maintained, with spacious, nicely designed rooms that are always spotless. The spa is a huge bonus for us and one of the main reasons we keep coming back

Great location. This is my go to hotel. I’d give it 5 stars if it wasn’t because my bathroom wasn’t clean during my 3-night stay. They even forgot trash bags there.

I had to report this issue three times daily, and each time it was only temporarily resolved by a system “reset. ” The in-room phone was not working, meaning I had to walk to the front desk each time I needed assistance

Below is a summary of the issues we encountered: The water pressure was extremely low upon check-in. The air conditioning was not functioning for three consecutive days

Peace of Mind I absolutely enjoyed my stay at The Merrion. We were treated with care and the staff were very attentive to our needs. Especially, Michael (Mihhael), he really went beyond with his service

Lovely hotel and great staff with the exception of the Garden Room for dining where the service was super slow. Pool was beautiful and gym was simple and clean. Food was very fresh and well managed for allergies.

This hotel is elite! I’ve staying at many luxury properties, this stands out at the top for service and the room itself. I would highly recommend the property and the Cellar Bar during live music.
