The experience was terrible. I requested beforehand that they arrange a quieter room on a higher floor, but when we arrived, we were on the lowest floor (3rd floor), right next to a construction site. When I asked the staff member who showed us to the hotel if they had any rooms, he said he'd check. I went downstairs with him to buy some things, and he told me to go buy some and he'd check when I came back. When I returned, he was off work ( ̄∇ ̄), and a different person said there were no rooms available and I'd have to wait a few days to change. I contacted Ctrip customer service, and after communicating with them, they said there were rooms available again??? Honestly, I could understand if there were no rooms available, but this kind of situation where they have rooms but refuse to give them to me is hard to understand. It just shows that Ctrip has a bad relationship with them; Ctrip members only get the worst rooms. I'm so angry!!!
The water heater broke down and leaked in the middle of the night after only a few days of staying, and I didn't sleep well all night. I stayed on the 8th floor, near the road, and could hear music outside on weekends (not to mention the street noise, consider it white noise). It was okay for adults, but I highly recommend it if you have children, as it will disturb their early sleep.
In short, I strongly advise against it.
Also, booking directly includes an airport transfer service, which isn't available through Ctrip.

1. It would be nice if the housekeeping could empty the clean dishes from the dishwasher after they have made up the room.
2. Noise is a problem here. My unit is all the way in a corner yet I could hear the lift door ding, kids crying next door, people talking outside… sound proof is really poor here. I felt like I was in a cheap hotel
3. Air conditioning is pretty lousy. Temperature was always set at 23.5 degrees but during some parts of the night, the temperature could go down as low as 20 degrees and some parts of the night could go up to 25 degrees. Tried asking the technician for help but he said it’s like that. Nothing much could be done. It’s weird
For me, First day was quite depressed and disappointed,view from our room was not pleasant, not only directly facing another building but had quite tiny space. It was family trip with my parents, I felt so bad especially before I book this place I did fully hotel research, I actually want to forget about my none redouble full payment and changed to another hotel, Thank you Alyson & Julian, an elegant lady with black short hair,big smile and her kind colleague help us changed to another much better room at the second day. Must say, they save me from the stress and anxiety from this trip. I truly and sincerely appreciate their hospitality and kindness.thank you so much and wish them all the best.( I kept this name paper with me as my lucky charm : )
Hygiene: The apartment is very new and cleaned very well. It's just a bit stingy that capsule coffee and body lotion were only given on the first day of stay and were not replenished for the next 6 days.
Breakfast: There are fewer styles, but they change every day. The taste is so-so.
Disadvantages: If it rains at night, it's really frustrating! Because the raindrops will hit the metal plate of the facade and make a crackling sound. It's really like knocking a gong in your ear all night. It's too exaggerated. Ding ding dong all night. How can it be designed like this. . Unfortunately, it rained heavily during the four nights we were there. We were woken up many times at night and couldn't sleep well. .
Other things are pretty good and very satisfied.
The air conditioning system is also very good. It doesn't blow on the bed at all. You can feel the wind blowing
Location: 5* - Excellent, right in the heart of Orchard, several malls, dozens of food options, MRT stop and buses.
Breakfast: 5* - Included, moderate quantity of options but food is rotated and is very solid. No breakfast on Sunday. Able to work from here during the day. Light Snacks/water/coffee available through out the day.
Rooms: 4* - Good size for 2 people. Rooms in decent shape, maybe halfway between brand new and in need of a renovation, only minor scratches/markings. Clean, includes washer and dryer. Been a week and still can’t figure out how to connect devices to the TV. Not great soundproofing through the entrance door but we didn’t have any problems.
Lounge: 2* - 11th floor lounge looks pretty but we fast found out it is always freezing and AC blasting. No practical workspace/station but does have a conference room you can book for 2 hours included each day. Bring the temperature up to 24-25*, add a couple workstations and this is now a 4-5 star lounge.
Fitness Center: 3* - Average. Fairly small for a hotel gym, but it does the job.
Pool/Deck : 2* - Unfortunately pool is just too cold, hardly ever see anyone in the pool. No view. Could be good doing laps. Only a small section of the deck gets sun, can get very windy.
Spa: 4* - the hot bath is the highlight. Also has a cold pool and steamroom.
Service: 4* - Friendly, helpful. Nothing extraordinary to merit 5* but no complaints.

Concept would have been decent if it was properly executed. Plates were clear quickly and promptly
However my experience of this place was subsequently marred after I revisited with my wife and two young children. On ordering a pot of tea for my children to share, they refused to bring us an extra empty cup for my children to share the pot. We were told (by the manager) it was something they couldn't do as the pot wasn't for sharing although they were prepared to give us an empty glass (?!?). Really poor attitude to service. Real shame as the food is very good and I wanted to leave with a good impression of this place.
