+ the reception staff is helpful
- The room is too small and you can hear the sounds from other rooms while talking or making a sound even if someone walking you can hear the steps.

I stayed here for 13 nights.
1. Staff are so friendly and helpful.
2. Room was comfortable.
3. Breakfast was amazing and delicious.
4. Near metro station and support.
5. The only problem I had was the smell of water in the bathroom. Did not understand the reason.
6. I will stay here again if I come back to St Petersburg.

Mattresses are some of the worst. Spent three days here and every morning I woke up feeling like I got clipped by a car. Back and neck really really sore.

Air quality in the Halls is filthy, had to run my air purifier on blast and stop up the badly fitted door with a moist bath mat and even cut up the disposable slippers they gave me and stuff them in the door cracks..

Laundry service runs a racket a la carte like 250 rubles to wash a sweater.

Tourism Department same thing tries to scam you for 4000 rubles rather than helping you book a ticket to the Tauride Palace as asked.

Kids at the front desk the workers themselves were nice. They did help me scan some documents into PDF form so that I could send them to my lawyer.

Th staff was very welcoming. They know english and helped us for our questions about st. Petersburg. 2nd day of my accommodation was my birthday. The front desk staff celebrated my birthday and prepared me a gift. Thanks for them for this. The room and the bath was fine according to 3 star hotel.

Great place to stay if you want a more Russian experience, the buffet was an interesting Russian spread. Only gripe I had was that the water drained very very slowly which made it uncomfortable to shower.

Visited again 26.6 only because it is closest hotel to my sister's home. In general it is clean and Ok. Very good location for my needs. Breakfast is good but in restorant there is much more work to be done in kitchen really don't know what there coming if you order European regular meals, for example medium minus stake will be ripe. Biggest minus for security service, no friendly at all, they are like Schwartsneger in terminator, no smiles really rude behavior, they didn't even think to help or explain anything. And one more minus is no conditioner in rooms. You can't adjust temperature at all.

Not a bad hotel. The rooms are old and small, but each room has everything you need: bed, closet, bathroom, TV. The Hairdryer was missing. The staff is friendly. The breakfasts are just wonderful!!! Very tasty and varied. The location is also good: 8 minutes on foot to metro station Ploschad Muzhestva. Close to shops.

Breakfast at 5. Dinner and catering menu on 2. Or the cook does not understand in the meat or no budget. The room is clean.
In the summer I recommend to check the availability of air-so far from the wall stuck pipe. Room cheaper 5000 I think it is necessary to take carefully.
