- there was no lift, we had to climb stairs to 4th floor. the door lock was not proper. wifi couldnot be connected as it was asking for local number and not everybody will be having a local number.

Room is great, price is good but they converted this place into long term apartments, so no hotel feel any more, no lobby and breakfast is across the street on a scheduled time

The price was expensive.... The room we rent wss stinking, to much cigarette smell. We ask for some new blankets and the cost of ir was 20 dollars

It's ok but it really is not a 'grand' hotel.Breakfast is not replenished quickly enough to cope with the number of guests.However the staff are really good.

Very good about position. Seven minutes by walk to Ermitage. Bedrooms are small and nothing special.

I stayed in Nevsky Energy, an other building, without elevator and I climb many-many steps. When I reserved a room at Nevsky Grand Hotel, nobody told me that Energy Room it means an other place, at 5 th level and no elevator! The bathroom was very small, I can't wash my face in that minuscule sink...

Best hotel in a very central place in Saint Petersburg. 5 minutes to Winter Palace. Metro Nevsky Prospect at 5 minutes. Very clean hotel and very helpful and nice staff.

Friendly, helpful staff in reception. Clean, comfortable room. Contrary to some other reviewers, we found the room quiet (although we did tend to get back well after midnight), and if we had been bothered by any street noise we could have shut the window and turned on the air conditioning. The only thing to beware of is that there is only one lift and it was broken on three occasions during our four day stay. We're (relatively) young and fit, so walking to the fifth floor was not a problem, but it might be for some people.

Room is not very big, but very clean and comfortable. Staff are the best asset here. Correspondence with the hotel was always very responsive and fast. Answer everything I wanted to know. Breakfast was adequate and quite tasty. Location is the best. Almost every major tourist attractions are in walking distance. My money and my time were greatly well-spent here. Highly recommend.
