I highly recommend this place for a stay in Saint Petersburg.
Staff was freindly and helpfull and it is close to the Nevsky Prospect (main street) where you have pubs, resturant, public transport, hop-on/hop-off sightseeing bus and only a 30-40 min walk to the Winterpalace which is a must see.
Why not 5 starts English can maybe be a problem at some of the staff and to get to the hotel you need to go through a gate where the if you dont know Russian you dont know which buttom to press.
But miner issue since when you are at hotel the tell you how to work the gate.
