- Room was old and smell rust but not so much

+ The old Soviet era aura. The hotel has an old time feel that’s the reason we choose it all the way from India.
- The staff & service are very poor. The reception & restaurant staff are behave in very unfriendly & unwelcoming They spoiled our stay! Was expecting professional people who can at least smile & serve. This is an essential skill in hospitality industry. These people seem to be doing an obligation by providing a room. Would not recommend to anyone.

+ A truly wonderful place! I stayed there for some nights and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The hotel has a unique and atmospheric charm, with comfortable rooms, kind and helpful staff, and a peaceful but convenient location. If I ever go to Moscow again, I'd be more than happy to stay here once more.

A very colorful hotel, unlike — may all Radissons and Holidays forgive me — chain accommodation facilities. The interiors in the Soviet Empire style are pleasant, cozy and authentic even in the little things, right down to the funny rotary locks in the restrooms. No-no, a TV, air conditioning and a minibar are available))) the guest will not have to turn the knobs of the tube radio "From the Soviet Information Bureau")))) the staff is polite and trained, like the guards of Iosif Vissarionovich)) nearby "Yar" and "Romen", literally in the same building. There are no problems with taxis, since there are several other large hotels nearby, and there is always a "duty" car of any level. There was a "club" category room, and I did not know in advance what it was. And this, in addition to the bedroom, is a separate office with a desk and upholstered furniture for four or five guests. Negotiations in a backroom setting or a friendly evening - very practical. Very pleased with the stay))

+ The hotel itself is legendary and the interior is simply a tourist attraction itself. We took a lot of photos of this wonder of architecture. We like the breakfast a lot. Even though it wasn’t a big range of choice, it was delicious and practical. The most amazing part, there was an artist playing harp during the breakfast and it was such an elegant and pleasant experience. The room service was also nice
- The location is not as convenient and you need to walk a bit to the metro
