+ The receptionist ladies are very nice and friendly. They will try their best to help on your request. They sent the portable heater to our room when we said the room is cold. The hotel is kind of old but it has everything that needed. The location is very good as well. Hence, it is definately a good choice for budget trip.
- Sometimes the supply of hot water is inconsistence at late night.

+ Everything good for me as a solo traveler. Bed is so comfortable, Room is clean.
- This hotel is quite old, I can smell the rug but it can be solved by using room spray.

+ The hotel is located in the city centre. If you're planning for a budget hotel with easy access to the city, Gubernskij is the best.
- The quality of water inside the washroom was not good, it was yellow. I wish the quality of washrooms could be improved.

What do you expect from a hotel. As they say, clean, but poor) The feeling that he was in a Soviet hotel. Compared to prices, they are moderate. In the top hotels of Murmansk, the price per day is from 8-10 thousand rubles. Here from 2,400 to 3,500. Quite comfortable. There is everything for a comfortable stay. There are no excesses here. There is no restaurant. However, the hotel is located in the center and there are enough places to "eat" here.

Somewhere I saw on Booking a description related to "retro". So this hotel successfully fits the term "cozy retro hotel in the Soviet style" :))) but seriously: the rooms are of course tired, very tired. Nevertheless, the room is clean, tidy, has everything you need to relax. The staff is polite, the price tag (was) surprisingly humane. Excellent location in the city center. There were no problems with parking.

Favorable location, next to the Philharmonic, 5 minutes from the "Five Corners" square.
Accommodation is fast, the administrators are friendly, you can pay extra for breakfast.
The hotel is quiet, clean, cooler on the floor. The room has a TV, refrigerator, small, cozy, clean.
A pleasant feeling of nostalgia for Soviet holiday homes is evoked by red carpets in the corridors, carpets in the room.
Excellent value for money and quality.
If you cannot live without new-fashioned interiors and high-tech, this is not the place for you.
Everything else is fine.

The worst hotel I've been to. We killed 23 minutes for registration. When they came to the room and put the cot on it was the first pair of springs. There is no lock in the toilet. The toilet room itself is very small. I definitely won’t go here anymore. And I do not recommend it. Very bad hotel. From the beginning they didn’t put a pillow. Then they carried it for 30 minutes. And I also thought from the comments that there would be a buffet, but it turned out that they were just asking why you had pancakes and on the table there are different sausages, butter, bread, and tea. The TV is ancient.

Quite modestly. The photo shows the simplest economy room. Breakfast is a small buffet, always the same, scrambled eggs, porridge, pancakes, cold cuts. You can also order something for dinner. The room has a refrigerator, TV. You can't do laundry and there's no place to dry your clothes. Periodically cleaned, change towels. Something like this.
