Hotel "Bristol-Zhiguly" was founded in 1897 and is one of the oldest hotels in the city of Samara. It is located in business and historical center of the city, near the river station and the picturesque embankment of the Volga river, surrounded by cinemas, many restaurants and shops. The hotel was completely renovated in 2009.
Hotel opened in 1909, renovated in 2012. In this hotel 93 rooms, 4 floors.

The room was big and the bed was soft but other colleagues mention very hard beds.

The bathroom was large but the shower was a bit cramped and leaked water into the bedroom.

Liked the hotel, were in a junior suite. Clean and tidy. The only thing in our room does not catch Wi-Fi, but we did not need it. They also leave a questionnaire in the envelope, we would gladly answer it, BUT there was no pen or pencil. They probably just forgot to put it down. Sorry, but we could not leave the completed questionnaire))) but everything was fine. We are glad
Convenient location in the city center, next to Leningradskaya Street in a historic building. The room is spacious, comfortable, the air conditioner is working properly, the kettle is in the room. There are minor flaws in cleaning, but not critical. The view from the room to the street is beautiful, it was not noisy. Bus stops are just a stone's throw away. If you are driving, you can leave it along the road (but in the evening you will have to move it to the other side) or ask the reception about the availability of free parking spaces.
If you do not have breakfast at the hotel, then practically opposite there is a good pancake house. Also near the hotel there are coffee shops, burgers, pastries.
It is better to book a room in advance, at least a week in advance. The site provides a weekend rate.

After I wrote the last review about this hotel, I was finally given a normal room. True, there was always the smell of pleasant men's eau de toilette in it. But, it is much better than the smells of mold and dampness.
In the new room and Wi-Fi already caught at least around the table. And it was possible to work normally.

Beautiful atmospheric building in the historical center of Samara. In the hotel's atmospheric architecture (columns, moldings). There are conference rooms, a cosy restaurant, bar. I really like this place
Only if you want to sleep in and not have a lot of money. Either you have no time. The cost of rolls at a low quality of service, the benefit is no of small animals and insects, be sure to follow bedding in the issuance\of delivery.
The hotel is trying to meet high-profile name, but he is thoroughly imbued with Soviet flavor with a hint of 90s. Sometimes interesting interior solutions are bordering on outright trash. Otnsheniya "as if you need something". The passage in the negotiation and conference hall across the street. Deposit R. 500 "just in case". Lord, I would not recommend it, maybe the only plus of this place is the location.
My husband and I rested at the hotel on spec.the offer "Romantic dinner". Everything was just super!!!!! The location is perfect! The pedestrian zone "Arbat" in literally 2 steps. Not far embankment.
The food in the restaurant is VERY decent. We were all delicious!!!!!
Breakfast "buffet". The range is wide! We had everything according to the photos on the official website.

Rooms are basic, breakfast is ok at best. Wifi is a public one of the city, it doesn't work on 3d floor.
