Urban Palace in Belgrade

The three of us stopped by for a quick drink. Even though the restaurant was almost empty, the hostess first asked if we had a reservation. We explained that we only wanted a quick drink, and after hesitating for a moment, she seated us at a larger table meant for groups. Meanwhile, several waiters were standing around with nothing to do, yet no one came to our table for 20 minutes. In the end, we decided to get up and leave. We were very disappointed with the service and the overall experience.

DO NOT BOOK HERE! Very bad accomodation, they are scammers. There was a party with very loud music in the boat next to the accomodation. In our room you could hear the music so loud it’s impossible to sleep (80 decibels inside our room and 100 decibels at our balcony). No other rooms were available so we booked another hotel late that night. We explained it to the owner, asked for our money back. He said he doesn’t have the money in cash but will transfer the money on our account the next day on Monday. He asked if we could write down our back account number and promised us to pay us back. The next couple of days we still did’t get our money back. After sending an e-mail he simply replied that he never agreed on giving us our money back. It’s rude and pure scam.
Please be aware that those people are not thrustworthy and the accomodation is not worth your money. There are much better accomodations in the area.
