Drinking water is available for use, so no need to buy bottles from stores. The closest beach is 6min drive, through a hotel. Overall the south East of Mahe is best for beaches, nature.
wi-fi is weak, internet speed is very slow, and even basic browsing barely works:(
The host is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We felt comfortable staying in one of her huts.
The huts are huge with a big kitchen and living room, a cool sleeping room and a bathroom. Everything is clean. The best is the balcony facing palm trees and the tropical forest. It feels like you are living in the trees. You can observe the flying foxes perfect.
The kitchen is very well equipped and there is a washing machine.
I can also highly recommend a home clocked dinner withy the host. The food is fresh and delicious!
You will feel more comfortable having a rental car as walking is not fun. However shops are in walking distance.

We visited all the island ✔️ and checked every spot and in my opinion this side of the island is the most beautiful. Here are the 2 beaches that I like the most: Anse Lazare und Anse Soleil (see pics). Not crowded beautiful beaches with white fine sand, blue water and gorgeous palms, sometimes calm water sometimes with big waves, it depends on the weather. ☺️ anyway, gorgeous!

A “tropical forest-villa” only for you.
A big bathroom, water with good pressure, no problem in being too cold / to hot.
A big bedroom with a comfortable bed and a big window with a great view into the forest.
A big kitchen+living room, there s a oven, an induction heating cooker, fridge, wash machine , etc, everything you need.
The Appartement is very good isolated, so dont worry that you will find spiders or other “bugs” in the house. That was very important for me 😂. There was also a huge balcony.
There is free WiFi available - it was ok.
Next to the house is a parking place, but take care because it’s very small.
We had daily an excellent housekeeping! 👌
I totally recommend this place for your stay in Mahe!
