I stayed here for several days and found the accommodation more than adequate. My room did not have AC, but it did have a fan which actually was fairly effective despite my initial skepticism. We just spent the weekend with my family at the guest house. Marianne is a great host and we had very hearty laughs during our conversations. I liked everything. The hostess was hospitable, the view from the window was stunning, and there was an extra bed in the room for two. It was like being in the jungle, with birds singing everywhere and an interesting atmosphere.

For what is advertised as a five star hotel, we werr disappointed. The staff were lovely and attentive but our breakfast was served cold on soggy bread, there was very loud drilling coming from building and our bathroom had dust over the surfaces. For a 2 night stay before flying home, it was all that we needed, but wouldn't stay again or recommend.

A small cozy hotel. Suitable for spending 1-2 nights there before the regatta, not suitable for a longer vacation. There is no beach nearby. The staff is very responsive and friendly. They answer all possible questions, help with calling a taxi. The breakfast is delicious, a choice of several options on the menu.

Good Breakfast and the owner are very friendly and supportive. It was a pleasure to stay at the appartment. 5 nights (November 2020): we were very satisfied with our stay at Demeure de Cap Macon! The hostess went out of her way to make us have a good time there. communication went smoothly! Unfortunately, both the internet and the air conditioning were broken, but we were quickly moved to another apartment. The breakfast is great, the area very well maintained. The host was very friendly and gave us a welcome drink and homemade dessert. The room was fully equipped with everything we needed, which made it very convenient for cooking. There is a store right across the street that has everything you might need. The bus stop is located directly in front of the house, making transportation extremely convenient. Very nice. only 2 minutes from Anse Volbert beach. It is a 15 minute walk to the village. Because you have to walk alongside the road & there is no pavement or streetlights, I would suggest that you take a torch with you. The road isn't that busy, so not a big problem, but a torch will help you be seen. The staff were friendly & helpful, giving me advice re the buses & snorkelling beaches.

If ever I went to Seychelles for a purely beach holiday, it would be Praslin and Rosemary‘s Guesthouse. Its hedge opens practically directly to the lovely beach, the hotel owns sunbeds which one can take to the beach or in the hotel garden.
