We tried both a ground‑floor room (during our first stay) and a small villa (on our next visit) – we enjoyed both. This is an authentic Seychellois hotel, exactly how it should be, not a cold sci‑fi style modern place

There are two “mature” restaurants on site, and that deserves a special mention: our child, who usually hardly eats anything outside home, was eating everything there, and the cocktails for adults were excellent

Pool area is well maintained and staff are always welcoming. A must visit if you choose to stay in Mahe

The location is great – only 20–25 minutes from the airport, which feels like a big advantage after a long flight

A minor area for improvement: sometimes it took a bit of time to find the staff member with towels to set them up on the sunbeds. It’s not a real problem, more a small service point that could be improved

This hotel boasts an excellent location right by Beau Vallon Beach, one of Mahe's most famous. The rooms are typical for a resort, the breakfast offers a wide variety, and the service is quite professional

The property is located on the beachfront and provides great views especially at sunset. There is no elevator and the overall upkeep of the property leaves a lot to be desired

I arrived super early in the morning, like 6am, and instead of having me wait, they made sure to get me into a room so I could freshen up and get some must needed rest

The rooms are spacious, and the bed is wide and comfortable. Each room has a veranda or a loggia. The grounds are well-maintained, and the beach is beautiful and clean

However, the wind often kicks up waves, so you might not get much swimming in. There's an excellent pool, practically Olympic-sized, so you can get a full workout in the morning before the kids arrive

There were dining options available for lunch and dinner. While the menus could be expanded further, I was satisfied with the meals I had — the portions were generous, filling, and tasty. Room cleanliness was excellent

We had a wonderful stay at Coral Strand Hotel. It just underwent major renovations in 2025/2026 and the rooms are so chic and modern! Located directly at the beach including a pool area

This was a big deal not having to run around for a charging socket. Chef Paul insisted not to take breakfast before a rough sea trip to Praslin. The general warmth of the place and the staff is a clear positive

The hotel has a great location with lots of activities around such as direct beach access, restaurants and bars. It is really easy to get around the area, but the hotel also offers several dining options

Coral strands was indeed a smart choice for us. The location was perfect with direct access to the beach and shopping and key facilities in the vicinity considering transport is not easy here

By the swimming pool we got excellent service from Krishna and Prabhat. I would definitely recommend this hotel for holiday in Seychelles

Everything was good and all were very cooperative. We had 4 nights stay in this property and they all were very good. Only little amount was missing but they cooperated well and gave vouchers insted of that

And Yes! Beach Cove Cottages turned out to be cooler than the five-star Savoy! Again, the ocean was roaring under our windows, again we fell asleep to the chirping of geckos and woke up to the cooing of the zebra dove

It is not when people "must," but when they owe nothing, yet you constantly feel their attention: sometimes fresh pastries for breakfast, sometimes a bag of fruit, sometimes an ordered dinner, sometimes breadfruit chips because you accidentally mentioned that you love those chips, sometimes opening coconuts and giving everyone a drink just because

It felt as if after lunches in a Michelin-starred restaurant, we had walked into a McDonald's. It was very disappointing to leave Seychelles on such a note. But then Providence intervened

Again, foddies flew in to see us for breakfast. And we were absolutely happy because we were again in the Seychelles, and not in a shopping mall, which the Savoy resembles

A suddenly started conflict in the Middle East and the cancellation of flights to the UAE forced us to change plans and stay in the Seychelles for another 9 days

We could gather those who wish in the morning and take them somewhere to the mountains or the forest for a couple of hours)) But in general, it’s very, very good here

Our stay here was nothing short of extraordinary — truly a small piece of paradise. From the very first moment, everything exceeded our expectations

What impressed us the most is that everything worked effortlessly — every detail was thoughtfully arranged. Usually, when we travel, we can always find at least one small suggestion for improvement

Each staff member merits a special word, but as this is not possible, a special word for Susantha (for organizing our excursions), Nelly and Gorbachev and others of the restaurants as well as the manager at the reception

It was actually a lot worse than a basic motel 6. Beach access was excellent though. Personel (when there) very very nice and friendly

Great location with walking distance to all the amenities of Beau Vallon. Spacious room and powerful hot shower. Basic but tasty breakfast served with a smile! Great terrace to read on for those rainy days too

Restaurant next door with the same owner served delicious sushi too. Bring your own beach towels as they weren’t available on the day we wanted to use them

Nice little bungalow setup…clean, right across the street from the beach. Lush green setting, lots of flowering trees, etc. Our room was small, inexpensive, but for a few nights it’s all you need for a couple

Breakfast was simple but tasty, with eggs, tea, coffee, fresh fruit, jam, bread, and butter. The garden is absolutely beautiful, and the location is perfect – just a minute’s walk from the beach

Tge hotel, the evironment and the garden are 4-5*, but the beach is not good at all. 2 - 300 meter more east it is much better. So only 3* ;-(((

I had the best margarita pizza in all of Seychelles at Fisherman's Cove Restaurant. The stunning view overlooking the Indian Ocean made the experience even more memorable

The gala di ner was good but surprisingky even for such a high charge they charged separtely for a glass of wine. Gala party was ok not very interesting. Near beach and their Parisian restaurant was good

My stay here was so comfortable and honestly had the most relaxing time. My friends and I stayed here for about 3 days and truly just enjoyed poolside and beachside

The room was equipped with an open shower stall which wasn't sealed completely so water was splashing everywhere

The location allowed us to save some money on taxi as no extra costs for the tours we had; pickup was easy/included. For fishing lovers it a perfect spot for you

There was no water in the tank to flush. The bulb in one of the restroom did not light as there was no bulb itself. The shower rod was too short, hence, your body rubs to the wall

Management, please consider expanding your take-away menu to include Mr France specialities such as 100% authentic Creole bouillon brede ( a delicious entree, soup), or his authentic Creole vegetarian lentil creamy soup creation and Banana cake Swiss Rolls

Bathroom's equally large and with good water pressure. They have 3(!) restaurants and a bar on the premises as well as a garden and a pool. Supermarket, bus stop and the beach are all within 5 minutes on foot

One of the best places we´ve ever stayed at! The location was perfect, just a minute walk from the beach. The more than kind staff that helped with everything

Fabulous villa and amazing location! Right in the hub of Beau Vallon, across the road from the beach and next door to brilliant restaurants and bars. Kid friendly and the service from Antoine and his team is impeccable

We stayed for 5 nights at Bord Mer Villa as a couple. The accommodation is very clean and only about 1 minute from the beach. Basically right in front of it

This didn’t bother us personally, and it’s something you can easily see when checking the location beforehand. Breakfast is available for an extra €15 per person and includes fruit, coffee, omelet, etc

The Beau Vallon beach can be accessed through Le Meridian and is just minutes away. You can also liaise with the owner Cyril and get a car for hire for about 45 Euros. One of the best locations to stay in Seychelles

We booked this stay for our honeymoon, and overall the place itself is absolutely beautiful. The snorkeling and swimming were amazing, and the location truly offers a perfect, peaceful experience

While showing us the room, we noticed other guests using kayaks. He then changed his explanation again, saying for safety reasons they don’t give kayaks, but if we insisted, they could arrange one

When I mentioned my earlier confirmation, he changed his stance, saying kayaking was permanently disallowed but he could show me a fishing spot — in a rather rude and unwelcoming manner

I had a very comfortable stay with the facilities being way above expectations

I had the chance to try Jessie's Creole dinner, it was amazing! The guest house is on the main street (and bus stop in front of it), 10 mins walking from the beach

Excellent house, silent location,friendly Jessie. Bars and restaurants by walking 20 min in the evenings. everything in Mahe worth to see is available by car within relativelly short time

I had a really good time there. The beach is around 10 minites walk from the house. Every morning they're cleaning the rooms and changing the bed sheets/ towels

I like that its in the quieter part of Beau Vallon as the central area gets loud and crowded. The beach in front is perfect with the softest sand, big boulders, lots of shade and no crowds

The beach is just fee steps away across the lodge. Our breakfast was set up which had the sea view. The Balcony of the lodge also has a sea view

We stayed here for 2 nights, excellent rooms, the beach is right across, loved the breakfast (fresh juices, fruits, omlettes and pancakes), very comfortable king mattress, spacious rooms with a nice big balcony sitout, the staff and the owner is very sweet and accommodated our every small requests, highly recommend staying here, do make sure to book this well in advance as they have full occupancy...

What a gem! My room was spacious with all the necessities: large firm bed, balcony with sea view, hot shower with great pressure, mini fridge, in room safe, toiletries and a TV

Each room has a small balcony with a breathtaking beachfront view and a perfect sunset every evening 🌅. They also have a pool area and a parking space if you are driving, which is very convenient

They communicate clearly about arrival details so everything is ready for guests. The room is gorgeously decorated and instantly puts you in the island mood
