We had dinner here in the quiet season in early February - the place was full and had a nice atmosphere. More upmarket and the food was phenomenal - loved mine and drooled over what I could see going to the other diners

We enjoyed 4 nights in Room 2 which included a private balcony. Impressive room, very clean and nice decor. Bathroom included L’Occitane products (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap) which was a nice touch

Breakfast was delicious with both continental options and cooked items. Complimentary coffee and cake provided between 1500-1700 for guests, perfect after a days activities. Free parking for hotel guests on site

We were checking out early in the morning before breakfast service started, so the staff very kindly prepared a packed up breakfast for us including fresh orange, fruit, croissant and breakfast rolls

Another wonderful stay with the Hotel Lipa We’ve always chosen this lovely family run hotel for our stays in the beautiful village of Kranjska Gora

The hotel is very well located within a pretty village that has everything you need in terms of amenities; the local bakery in the morning and the ice cream counter at the end of an active day were firm favourites

Two nights using the hotel as a base to visit Nova Gorica and Bled. Breakfast buffet was extensive - continental choices plus scrambled eggs and British sausage. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable

The dining room staff sometimes does double duty at registration desk. Bus stop is a 5 minute walk and train station is a couple of minutes longer

My room was very spacious with a balcony, good bed and en suite. Meals (half board) were included in our hiking package and overall the food was very good and incredibly plentiful

My partner and I visited the hotel for food and drinks on a number of evenings. There was a varied menu including Slovenian dishes, salads and pizzas. Food was lovely and service was always excellent

The breakfast buffet was a great start to the day and the evening guest three course menu was excellent. There was lots of choice and it very nicely cooked and presented

We truly enjoyed our stay. Location was great, breakfast was very nice, staffs were helpful. The only thing is the size of the room, we could barely fit 2 mid sized suitcases. Try to reduce your luggage if possible!

Unfortunately, during our stay, hotel had water issues for a few hours, but they communicated so well and we prepared to move us to a hotel nearby without a fuss should the problem persisted

It’s quite near Lake Bled, which makes it perfect for walks and sightseeing. The welcome pack was well-prepared and informative, and the restaurant served delicious food in a lovely setting

Beautiful hotel, good location away from main area but close enough to walk. Hotel staff was very kind and attentive. Breakfast was amazing and hotel restaurant was also fantastic!

The only small drawback was that the room felt a bit compact, making it a little hard to move around comfortably. Overall, a great stay and very well managed!

Luckily, it was quickly fixed and we could enjoy our stay. We just wish we stayed longer and next time try their restaurant, the menu looked really good!

Perfect place i got rest very well and enjoyed in pool. And i also had able to rent e-bike to see the around the village.

We stayed with 8 friends for 4 nights while attending a music festival nearby. The place is beautiful, the rooms are clean, and we enjoyed both the pool and the jacuzzi

The food is great, but most of everything, the staff is adorable. They organized taxi for us, helped us out when we needed, and made us breakfast and dinner outside their regular schedule

very nice hospitality, great location (for paragliding as well) private landing space. well equipped rooms, modern bathroom. balcony is also nice. jacuzzi is available, you can order a beer if you want for 1.5 EUR:)

Stayed from 22/06 to 25/06 in Penzion Kobala. We had 2 times a very good diner. Service was very friendly and helpfull to give tips on how to spend the day

Wonderful complex overlooking the sea, wished I could have stayed longer to enjoy the pool and spa. Excellent restaurant too.

Nice People, very flexible, beautiful view from high above. You can see the whole area till Triest Italy. The **** Star Hotel looks new. Be sure to book the sea side hotel. The restaurant offers the stunning view also

My favourite hotel in the region. This was our second time staying here. The view: If you get a room with the view you can see the landscape of the sea and Izola which is very beautiful

Breakfast was amazing, including warm and cold opinions. Check-in and check-out are super fast

I was not staying at the hotel, but i was eating at the restaurant of the hotel. Delicius.

As for the room, it was very cosy, clean, neat, bright and spacious. During the night we rested so well, lying on the most comfortable bed and pillows we have ever had in a hotel

A true gem in perfect location to explore the city. Staff was lovely and room was really good. Only downsideis the parking situation but that is well communicated beforehand

They even lent us a phone charger when ours stopped working and let us check in earlier. The hotel is in a great location about 10 minutes walk to the centre of the city and the attractions

We liked the position of the hotel that is situated in the heart of the city. The hotel itself is very neat and stylish. Everything is new including the furniture

The croissants, especially the pistachio are some of the tastiest we have had. There never seemed to be any bacon left even when we had breakfast earlier. Staff were pleasant and helpful

We had room on second floor and they have a lift location is superb close to all the highlights. Parking is possible in close by garage at special rate

Beautiful hotel in a very calm town and beautiful surroundings. Sad we couldn't enjoy the pool during our stay due to our packed timetable. The location is ideal if you have a car. The breakfast was delicious 😋

We were afraid that it would be noisy due to being quite near to the highway but we couldn't hear any cars at all. 👍 We didn't have time to check out the pool or bar though

It's located near Bled (around 15 minutes away), which was very convenient for us. The place is a little outdated, but our room and bathroom were very clean, and it has free parking. The swimming pool was very nice

The outside of the hotel is unimpressive, but the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The ocean side ones have balconies with lovely Adriatic Sea views. The hotel faces the beach which is about a block away

It provides unattached beach chairs and umbrellas for the day for 20 euros, but no beach towels. The beach area has easy access to the water by steps or a ladder

We stayed at San Simone Hotel in Izola during a hiking trip and had a great experience. The mix of nature, beach, and beautiful views makes it a perfect place to relax after a day outdoors

As a family of four with two small kids, San Simon was a great fit for us due to the close proximity to the beach, restaurants, and various activities in Izola

Room was full of spiders and their webs, decoration is quite horrible and you get the feeling of being in quite a dirty room. The three starts only because the price is quite low so it would be unfair to rate them lower

So so. Very simple room equipment. No possibility to have a breakfast in the middle of summer season. No kettle nor minerał water in room.

I'm not a fan of cevapi made of beef, but these were one of the best I've ever had - they were nicely grilled, thin and not greasy. In addition, the flatbread is the best I've ever eaten

After 11 days of Italian pasta. That was the greatest meal I could want. The location is nice as rooms are too. Very nice and clean place.

Nice menu, the price, quantity and quality relation was Excellent, a great place to stop and eat. They do not accept credit card, so that I guess is a downfall. However the staff was nice and handsome

If you are a meat lover - you should visit this place. Main plate - meat (pork or chicken or beef), vegetable side dish and Slovenian cake. Very simple, delicious and definitely just from the grill

The breakfast is delicious and abundant! We had fresh bread, homemade cakes, homemade jam made from the grapes and fruit on the farm, local honey, the dairy products (ricotta, cheese, butter and milk) were from the milk of the cows on the farm, fresh eggs from the chickens, fresh picked tomatoes and cucumbers and of course coffee and tea were abundantly available

Beautiful homestay with Toni and his family. Very friendly and welcoming, set on a small farm in the hills behind lake bled. 5 minutes from lake bled but much more peaceful

A little old but an amazing place. You live on a farm with the owners however dont smell the animals, the rooms have great views and most importantly the owner is extremely nice and helpful

Toni and his family provided top service (breakfast, eggs/milk from the farm). We also got good advices to visit the area, as Toni can speak mulitple languages (Slovenian, German, English, and so on

The breakfast is served on the large balcony overlooking the pear trees, grapevines, garden and pasture area where the cows grazed alongside a cute little donkey

To top it off the rooms are priced very well! The only slight problem is that it is close to a church that you will hear if you have your door/window open

The food was nice and the place is cozy. The staff is friendly and speaks english well. Enjoyed it!

The staff was very caring until our arrival and they made sure, that we arrive safely. When we arrived at Brunarica, we were surprised with an upgrade, which made our stay even better

After one week of camping in Slovenia, it was the best night of our whole stay. The breakfast was good and the accomodation is stunning

We stopped by to have lunch while traveling in Slovenia and the food was really tasty and also the staff was really nice and friendly.

The only two flaws in our opinion were the mattress (too hard) and food quality (Italian high standards here) as the buffet breakfast was abundant but not that tasty

During our stay, the weather was heavy downpour, so we didn't get to enjoy the gorgeous outdoor setting under the lights, but it looked very romantic and serene

Lovely restful place in a strategic position to visit Bled, the Triglav Park and the area; we stayed in a well-equipped suite with large patio/kitchen

One thing to improve is the room cleaning, I found hair on the floor mat and bath towel, otherwise that would be perfect

The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of the city attractions. The rooms are spacious and clean, and there were bed side sockets which was great as some hotels don’t bother to put this

The staff are very helpful, and the breakfast offers a good variety of options. The only downside was the elevators. They were quite slow, and during my stay the hotel seemed to be at full capacity

The same issue occurred when returning to the hotel, as there was often a crowd of people queuing for the elevators at the entrance. But overall it was a good stay

In the mornings, the elevators were frequently full by the time they reached my floor, meaning I had to wait for the next one

The rooms are quiet and soundproof, and the multi-functional socket in the bathroom even works with Chinese plugs. It's a pity we arrived late and left early, so we didn't get to enjoy the indoor pool and spa

Indoor pool small but good round shape and warm water. Outside pool looked gorgeous but was closed because it was before summer. Overall for similar price I would definetely return to the hotel

Professional staff, service comparable with best 5 star hotels. Rooms are very nice, breakfast was top quality (only warm dishes were cold due to extensive air-conditioning, staff should handle it)

The hotel is very close to the beach, just a few minutes' walk away. Parking costs €19, and charging is free

Positiom 5 Service 3 ( receptionist was very kind, but breakfast was not on the level for 4 star hotel and water in the pool was too hold what was bad suprise since we chose that hotel because of the pool

We were overlooking church which chimed very regularly which was a bit disturbing. Towels and sheets changed regularly. We were half board, the food was ok, some days better than others

There is an hourly bus service to Ratece, and it is easy to walk to Italy from there and even to the meeting of three countries ( Italy , Austria and Slovenia ) at the top of Mount Tromeja, although this is more challenging

It's our third year here, and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is 10 10-minute walk from the ski resort and offers a locker for skies and skiing boots in the warm room in the garage

Very nice hotel in the centre of Kranjska Gora. Buffet dinner was excellent with choices of very tender meats and usually pasta too. Delicious cakes (as everywhere in Slovenia)

This year everything was so smooth, since arrival, fast check in, garrage for car and hospitality of all staffs, started from reception, restoran and other facilities

The third/last day I spent a couple of hours at the pool but the balcony surrounding it was occupied by workers fixing something so I had to stay indoors

One of the best places we stayed traveling across Europe on bike for two months. Owners super nice and full of good advice for seeing the town. Their dog, Bobi, is so fun too! Such a quiet and peaceful location

Friendly owner who gives helpful advice about the town in accent-free German. The somewhat rustic 1980s-style interior and furniture are unlikely to win any avant-garde design awards, although we didn't mind this

Such a cozy place! Spacious nad pet friendly!! This is a family business and the hosting family is so nice. I especially liked their big garden and the breakfast that included home-grown fruits.

The furniture is somewhat dated but comfortable. Bug screens on all windows/doors, so easy to let in fresh air. Breakfast buffet with plenty of choices of fresh homemade or regional produce

Our apartment was spacious and spotless, with direct access to the huge garden with playground for children to spend their time in. We left later than we had planned just to make use of it
