Forestar Hotel in Seoul

The room is very different from the picture. Hotel building itself is very old, and the room we checked in was extremely dustsy and dirty, we could tell they did not try to clean the room before our check in. Under the bedsheet there were stains, bedding covers have stains too. In the Toilet there were still hairs from previous guest. Overall bad experience, would not stay here the next time.

A night at this hotel cost over $100. And for that price, it's simply disgusting. Let me start with check-in, mind you, at 8 PM! And on weekends, at 10!

The room is dirty, and the furniture is tired and worn. There are no hooks for towels in the bathroom; you can only dry them on chairs—a collective farm.

Under 3,000 rubles per night is acceptable, but not for 10,000 rubles or more.

On the plus side, the location is a 5-minute walk from the metro or bus stops, which provide connections to any of the tourist areas. There are decent restaurants and small supermarkets nearby.

This hotel is absolutely terrible.
The sheets and duvet covers were covered in stains, the bathroom was moldy, and it was incredibly filthy, like one of the worst guesthouses in China.
When I tried to talk to the staff, they said it wasn't a hotel and I shouldn't have such high expectations. It was truly unbelievable.
I swear, don't stay here. The experience was awful.

Upon my arrival, the receptionist, without offering any greeting, immediately asked if I spoke English — ironically while using a translator. The room was dirty, as shown in the attached photo. I requested a room change, but although the linens appeared clean, the room was dusty and the furniture was old, stained, and torn. The overall condition was far below expectations and certainly not worth the price I paid.

During my six-day stay, I also had to personally request for the room to be cleaned. Even then, when I returned later in the afternoon, the cleaning had not yet been completed, and I was asked to wait. This level of service was highly disappointing.

The only good thing about this place is that it's close to the subway station.

My companions chose to stay in Shiwangli, so I randomly chose a hotel near the subway entrance, Baotou. I booked a hotel through Ctrip. Initially, the hotel asked me to change rooms every day, saying it was a rule in their partnership with Ctrip. Later, after some negotiation, the Ctrip staff agreed to let me stay in the same room for four days. I checked in at 8 pm that evening, but I immediately noticed something was wrong. Three walls of my room were made of glass, and the toiletries were quite generous. I wandered around the room and saw multiple reflections in the mirror. Unable to sleep in the early morning, I called Ctrip to discuss a change. The room I was given wasn't as unusual, but the cleanliness was questionable. The shower was old, and the sliding door was rickety. My flight was leaving that evening, and it was raining in Seoul. I returned to the hotel to wait for my taxi. While waiting in the lobby, I watched young Korean couples coming and going, one checking in and the other leaving. The food delivery driver could enter the hotel directly to deliver food. I was certain this was a love hotel, primarily for hourly stays, and I understood why I was asked to change rooms every day. No one at the front desk speaks Chinese. Don't come here. Although it's close to the subway, you have to take the bus or subway to get everywhere, which is not convenient. Moreover, this is not a place for people who travel or do business. The bed sheet was changed again and again by the waiter, but it was still dirty. I didn't see any female staff. The cleaning was done by the guys at the front desk. In summary, it's really, really, really unhygienic! ! ! !

Very bad. Don’t stay here. I paid more than 1,000 yuan for a room with blood-stained sheets. It’s so rubbish.

They blamed me for not cleaning the room properly after checking in at 9:30pm, and then they changed me to a worse room with a lot of curses.
