Dormy Inn SEOUL Gangnam in Seoul

Every time I go to Korea, I stay at this hotel. Firstly, it's very convenient, but most importantly, I feel very safe there. The room isn't huge, but it has everything you need. The breakfast is also plentiful. There's a 7-Eleven and a CU right next door and across the street, and plenty of dining options nearby.

First off, the service was genuinely excellent. Since it was cold winter weather, they thoughtfully gave me an extra room card, saying it would ensure the room stayed warm. The room itself was comfortable, especially the pillows, which made it easy to fall asleep. However, the only drawback was that the air conditioner, possibly due to its age, made a constant noise, making it hard to sleep. Since I was only staying one night, I just put up with it. On a previous stay, I also couldn't sleep because of the AC noise. I hope they can update their air conditioning units in the future. Lastly, breakfast was also very good, and the fish cake soup was fantastic.

Loved the onsen and free food (though the time for the soba was quite short)! Wouldn’t recommend taking airport bus in the evening as we got stuck in peak hour traffic for 2.5 hours. Thankfully our flight was delayed.

The environment was comfortable and clean, and the front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. The large public bath on B1 was incredibly relaxing after a long day. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try breakfast, but I'll definitely be back next time.

Great for families! The onsen is an added value to the hotel especially after tons of walking during the day and be back with the hot bath ton relax. Not forgetting the daily 9-1030pm complimentary ramen supper after the hot bath with free ice cream!
Complimentary coffee tea services are available at the hotel lobby too!

This is a Japanese-style hotel in Korea, so naturally the rooms are small. My room was in a corner, and if I fully opened a suitcase larger than a carry-on, it pretty much took up the entire aisle between the bed and the wall, so I had to step over it constantly.

The unique feature of this hotel is its public hot spring bath. Even though the hot springs in Korea are man-made, according to the bathhouse description, they still offer the benefits of natural hot springs. After a soak, there are complimentary mini ice creams available, and it's really refreshing to have a cold treat after a hot bath.

The hotel is within walking distance of the Gangnam Daero commercial district and a cluster of restaurants, which is very convenient. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the breakfast offered a good variety of Japanese and Korean dishes. Overall, it offers great value for money, and I would choose to stay here again next time.

I had a pleasant time staying at Dormy Inn. As usual, the service provided by the staff at the hotel is exceptional. The location is close to the subway station despite a short distance of steep walkway. Plenty of food choices nearby. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
