New Kukje Hotel in Seoul

Location is excellent with spacious and comfy rooms. The facilities are a bit outdated, but that's probably why the hotel offers a lower price. Complimentary breakfast was adequate and convenient.

We had an issue with heating but they provided an alternative heater.

I stayed for 6 nites in Dec 2022. Location is near city hall subway and walking distance to myeongdong. There r eateries around. The hotel staff r v helpful. I spoken to Mr Koo and another bigger size staff. They were v helpful to my enquiries on transport, food and hotel facilities etc. It was a pleasant surprise that they offer free simple breakfast for all staying guest during that period. It is simple salad n toast bread but it was fresh and good enough. The hotel knows the helpful info required by guest and prepared in advance good info such as e operating hours for e cafe and convenience shop at e groundfloor, the laundry facilities, the timetable for e airport bus infront of the hotel etc. I made good use of the coin laundry which not many hotels would hv. The staff also helped me order fried chicken when I could not do so. The room is spacious, clean and there is air purifier. The city view from e room is v nice. I can see the mountain, gyeongbukgung palace (walking distance) and the blue house. The hotel lounge at 15th floor has a balcony and can have an outside sitting too. V nice view from there. It is easy to travel anywhere from that location. Really, a good hotel and with good staff at a good price. I will come back again.

Loved everything here! The location, helpful and accommodating staff, the restos behind the hotel, and so much more. The staff speak English so communication was not a problem. Our room was cleaned daily including changing sheets, towels, etc. We would easily stay here again on our next trip. ☺️

Great location. Near City Hall train station and lots of eateries. Near Cheonggyecheon canal. Beautiful place for stroll and great for running. The hotel bed is kinda of hard and the carpet flooring is pretty old. Other than that, the coin laundry helps a lot if you are staying more days and the counter staff has been very helpful.

A very nice hotel for a very nice price. The concierge spoke English, and there is a convenience store attached. The rooms are clean and have their own wifi, a bidet, and a lovely view. There is a sauna and massage area located on the 3rd floor, though it was closed every time I stopped by. Not a problem though, as I came at very odd hours since the rest of the day was out and about. Very close to city hall and bus access. Lots of great cultural sites nearby. Would recommend.

The room is well designed with a very nicr view of the Gwanghwamun palace, bathroom is nice, the lighting in the room is very nicely lit, you can read or write something without extra desk lamp, and later you can turn off a few lights to dim the room. Superb service, if you need to find your way around the city, or even to Pyeongchang, just ask the concierge, they'll help you out from booking to drawing you a map, their English is ok. If you want to travel somewhere else then back again, you can place your excess luggage in the hotel. If need wheel chair, they can provide with a deposit of $100, don't forget to go to the rooftop to get a nice picture of a bird's eye view of the Gwanghwamun area. Breathtaking
