Not bad. It's about a ten-minute walk from the subway station, which makes it quite convenient for getting to Olympic Hall for concerts without needing to transfer lines.

Modest room with a great view of the backstreets of Gangnam. Location was close enough to all the shopping and restaurants. Great service and enjoyed my stay.

The hotel's location is great, very close to Gimpo Airport, and there are many dining options right outside. The only downside is that it feels a bit like a guesthouse, though the cleanliness is decent. If you have an early flight, it's worth considering.

You definitely can find better hotels that are cheaper near this area. It’s clean but very old building like a horror film.

i stayed at this hotel for 3 guests last week for 9 nights. pros: • non touristy location • affordable ($650+ when i booked it) • lobby has a kiosk where you can buy and/or refill your wow pass + do foreign currency exchange to Korean won in cash • close to the line 5 train station (4 min walk) • not a loud area, even though there’s chicken and beer restaurants across the street that don’t close...

The room facilities are a bit old, which is understandable given their age, but all the essential small appliances are there. It's very convenient for short stays, and the subway station is just a few minutes' walk away.

One of the best stays I’ve had! 1. Convenient location -a bus stop (with airport limousine bus) AND a train station right in front of the hotel, only a few train stops away from Hong Dae. 2. It was very neat, the buffet located at the 2nd floor didn't have variety but the food was very nice, for 27,000 won though, it was alright. The room was great but it was very DARK so you can't work here or read a book. There's a very cool park by the river a few blocks away but the hotel itself is located inside the city so the view isn't the best.

Stayed for day, classic room with 3 beds, we had fun

Strategic location, nearby to Seonyudo subway train station. Hotel is clean and quite. Surrounding has grocery stores, convenient access to eateries. No early check in allowed. Had to pay extra if u wish to check in before 3pm. Bathroom shower was rather challenging as water would be everywhere.

Great rooms and they can accommodate English only guests. The included Breakfast is not great, I had to cook the bacon and sausage on the hotplate included in the suite rooms. The Tous Tous restaurant that is connected is tasty but not really korean food if that is what you're after, and I was.

Very comfortable bed and fancy bakery Cafe in 1st floor. Good restaurants around the area nearby.

The hotel room was very spacious and clean, staffs ate very friendly and helpful. Although it’s not located in the city center, but the transportation is very convenient, with both a bus stop and subway station right outside the hotel. There is also a No Brand supermarket across the street, as well as many local restaurants and cafes nearby. It’s a great choice for families.

The hotel is very conveniently located in a quiet area. There is a very beautiful park on the island nearby. View of the river from the hotel, in good weather you can see N tower.

The tablet for request room cleaning not working for 1 day as there was no connection. After reporting the issue with front desk, issue resolved. overall ok but quite far if you want to go Seoul.

The hotel is quite new and offers self check-in on the 14th floor. You can store your luggage after check-out. There's a gym and a laundry room. Plus, the subway station is right outside the door.

The hotel is located near Sinsa Station subway exit. If you're coming from the airport, take the bus to Sinsa Station, then walk back about 5 minutes to the hotel. For the subway, it's Sinsa Station Exit 5. The location is excellent. The hotel offers breakfast, and there's a popular BBQ restaurant right by Exit 5 that always has a long line. The room was good with a nice view and like the hotel ^^ it’s very easy to get around Sinsa area and transportation bus subway and airport bus is very convenient to reach this hotel 🏨 I like it very much this is my second time staying here. Hope for the next visit in Seoul

The Incheon Airport bus stop is right downstairs, which is super convenient. The first room we were assigned had a really noisy air conditioner, but the front desk was great and switched us to another one. It's an older place, but for the price, you really can't complain.

I booked a king room on the 13th floor. The room was spacious and well-equipped. However, it was inconvenient for guests arriving by airport shuttle as you have to carry your luggage down about a dozen stairs to the lobby. The alternative is to go around to the main entrance, but even then you have to drag your suitcase down a slope to get there, which is very inconvenient.

The location was very good however it was quite deceiving going in to the room where the lock was quite loose and bathroom was old.

The room isn't soundproof, and the refrigerator fan is really loud. In short, if you like quiet, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Korean accommodations are typically small, incomparable to rooms in larger countries like China. However, overall, the room was quite comfortable, and the location was excellent, right next to a luxury shopping street. The only downside was the noise from cars racing at night.

The location is decent, but it's a small boutique hotel, and the amenities aren't as good as they appear in the photos. The room size, however, is acceptable. We were driving, so I didn't pay attention to whether there was a subway nearby. If you're young, don't have a car, and just want to shop, this hotel isn't suitable.

Honestly i read many not great reviews about this hotel but went i am actually here it is not bad at all! The room size is perfect not too small not too big. Everything is clean and i had a good night sleep. 10/10 i would recommend!

Although it was a short stay, it was very satisfying. The location is excellent, with many restaurants and shops nearby. It's also very convenient, being close to the subway station.

The Hotel is amazing, we had a great stay at Shilla Stay Yeoksam. Downstairs is 7-11 convenience store, and have a cafe too.

Right next to Seodaemun subway station, and a 20-minute walk to Seoul Station, so the transportation is very convenient. The room isn't huge, but that's understandable for a Seoul hotel. It can be a bit noisy because it's right by a main road, but everything else is fine. I used the foreigner discount, and the price was acceptable.

The bed was smaller than expected, even though it was listed as a large bed. While the staff were kind and tried to accommodate my request, the bed still felt too small for the price.

Second time staying in this hotel. Service is superb. They allowed us for early check in as we arrived early morning, it was very helpful for us because we didn’t have to wait till 3PM to rest while we were already tired from an overnight flight! Thank you Shilla Stay Seodaemun. We will be back!

Super close to the Seodaemun exit, and it's just one more crosswalk to get to another exit with elevator. Staff are very friendly and helpful, highly recommended!

Located right by the subway line, the windows aren't well-sealed, so you can hear the subway passing by.

The room was very clean and comfy. The wifi worked well despite being a little slow, but we were able to connect to the TV without problems. The bathroom was perfect, with a bathtube and a water with bidet incorporated. In general, it was a very good experience.

Noise alert for City view rooms: Construction outside the hotel. Even when vehicles pass by the street you will heard the noise whole night. I’m at 17 floors still can hear the noise. Not for light sleepers. This construction is not ending anytime soon but will be great to stay in the future. (Yeongdong-daero Underground Complex Development Project expected to finish by 2028) Lobby is on 21st floor...

Returning to the Shilla Stay Samsung for the second time, I am reminded of why I like this hotel. The room climate control works perfectly, keeping the space at a very comfortable temperature. Additionally, the bedding is exceptional; the mattress strikes the perfect balance between firm and soft, making it easy to get a restful night's sleep. It remains a highly valuable and reliable choice.

There are 2 convenient stores near the hotel which allows you to do a quick snack/grocery run. Room is bright, clean and modern looking. The aircon, however, doesn’t seem to be adjustable. Overall, I'm really happy with my stay. Even though check-in was officially at 3 PM, they let me check in at 2 PM, which was a nice surprise. The front desk staff spoke excellent English. They even gave me some snacks when I checked in and Seoul Express vouchers and bookmarks when I checked out. Stayed for two days on a business trip. The service and cleanliness were both quite good. There were a lot of foreigners at the hotel.

The environment is excellent, and the location is superb. Right downstairs, there's an airport bus to Incheon Airport. You can take bus 6009 directly to the airport, and it only takes about an hour. Don't worry if domestic maps show 2 hours; it's actually just over an hour.

The room was spacious, and the transportation nearby was very convenient with Metro Line 2. It's right next to Lotte Duty-Free Shop, and Myeongdong is just a 7-8 minute walk away. There are convenience stores nearby too. I would definitely stay here again.

Pros: The location is excellent. There's an underground passage right outside that leads directly to the subway station. It's right next to the Lotte Hotel, and it's not too far to walk to Myeongdong. The room was spacious, and the service was great. Even when we didn't request housekeeping, they still delivered fresh towels and water. There are power outlets next to the bed, so no need for an adapter...
