Kyoung Dong Hotel in Seoul

Everything you need for a first time trip to Seoul, clean room, friendly staff and excellent location.

Amazing hotel! I was genuinely surprised to find such a great hotel at this price. It's super close to Myeongdong's main street and the subway station, so I highly recommend it to anyone traveling on a similar budget. The room was spacious, and they provided toothbrushes, toothpaste, and various toiletries. There was even a fridge in the room! Honestly, it exceeded all my expectations!

The environment is great and the transportation is convenient. It's about a 5-minute walk to the subway and bus stations, and close to N Seoul Tower. Myeongdong is also just a 10-minute walk away with lots of great food options, which is very convenient.

It's been almost a month since I returned home, and I suddenly remembered I hadn't left a review, but staying here really brought back wonderful memories!

It was December and snowing a bit when I arrived. The stairs were a little slippery when entering through the back door, which is worth mentioning. Also, there's no ramp, so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs.

There were Chinese staff among the cleaners, so communication wasn't a big issue. After dropping off my luggage, I went out to explore.

When I returned in the evening to check in, the Korean owner helped me carry my very heavy suitcase up to the third floor. I'm truly, truly grateful because my suitcase was genuinely heavy. When checking out, he again helped me carry it downstairs without a second thought. However, the owner seemed to only speak English, not Chinese.

The room was a medium size, and the cleanliness was quite good. There was a dedicated area by the entrance to take off shoes. The only downside was that the bathroom door didn't close properly, but my friend and I didn't mind. Perhaps only this room had that issue.

I must emphasize how great the complimentary amenities were. Toothbrushes and toothpaste were provided, and they were in small, individual packages. There were even skincare products! Lotion was included! This is the first time I've ever seen that in Korea.

On the day we checked out, the owner's Korean friend even spoke to us in Chinese, saying it was nice to meet us. We truly had a pleasant stay! Thank you, boss~

Very good and clean, and the owner is very welcoming!

My criteria for cleanliness are very high. The rating is between three and four. We often felt the smell from the nearby restaurant in the room. We also had a small problem with insects. There are a few other things. But all in all, very nice staff, good location.

We liked our room and the bathroom. The hotel is  located in a great area close enough to walk to the touristic attractions. Estás was polite
